After Harry moved, I tuned the rest of the world out. I focused on basketball.
I don't know why I let that choir thing get to my head. I got the extra credit and was able to drop the class. Isn't that all I wanted in the first place?
Months went by and Harry, Louis, The boy Niall from the party, and two other boys went far into the season. I tried to watch their video diaries, but those are just salt in the wound. I never re-watch them, though. It was too hard on me to watch them the first time, let alone a second or third. They didn't win X Factor, but they did still get a record deal, releasing an album and winning numerous awards.
Ellie ended up alone.
And I ended up winning the championships.
Hands soared through the air as the buzzer went off. Everyone rushed to the center court and through a loud crowd, I found Ellie, and then my family. Drake congratulated me and I hugged him along with my mom and we went home.
A season of basketball can really wear your lungs down. I'm just glad I don't have to sing anymore, or else my lungs would have burst. I would have been in a hospital bed at this point.
After running a bath, I sat in bed and tapped the twitter icon open to scroll through my feed.
I had just made one, but I never posted. I followed Harry and the rest of the boys awhile ago, but they never followed me back. I would text Niall or Harry, but I decided we aren't that close. We never were. After all, it was just one night.
I stopped breathing and I scrolled through my timeline faster and faster until I finally believed it. Harry had a new girlfriend named Kendall Jenner.
I went to her profile and explored through her tweets and pictures. She definitely was prettier than me, prettier than most all girls I had seen. though, I did have a better nose than her.
I set my Phone down and turned in my bed to my side and fell right to sleep. I don't care who Harry is dating now. I just won my basketball championships, and there was nothing that could make me upset. Nothing except him.
