After I left the audition, I rushed home and packed my bags then drove to the address the boys gave me. When I got there I parked and pulled all of my things out then walked up the stairs the best I could with all my luggage. I set down one of my bags and then knocked on the door. After waiting for a few seconds, the door was answered and out came...
The boys and I heard a knock on the door and I went up to get it. When I opened it up, I was met with the pretty face of our new band member.
"Hey, welcome to our place!" I said smiling.
"Uh, thanks, Tris. Hey, I was wondering if maybe you could help me take this stuff in, or I might fall down the stairs." she said, looking behind her with a worried glance.
"Oh, yeah, sure, where are my manners! Here, let me take a few things!" I grabbed up the bag that was on the ground and a few of the bags that were dangling precariously by her thin fingers and held the door open for her while I let her in.
"Guys, she's here!" I called out as she walked past me.
As soon as I said that, they all ran to us from the other room. Brad was the first to speak.
"HI LYDIA!" well, more like he was shouting than speaking, but you get the point.
"Hey, Brad!" Lydia said brightly as she set down her bags and hung up her coat.
"How was the drive?" asked James.
"Good, your place was pretty easy to find." she turned away from the coat rack.
"Glad to hear it." Connor commented.
I interrupted the conversation.
"Hey, Lydia, I'm gonna take your stuff up to your room, you can go and relax with the boys." I said, already starting to walk up the stairs.
"Ok, thanks, Tris. That's very sweet!" she smiled at me before Brad averted her attention back to him.
"Hey, Lyd, follow me, I'll give you a tour of the house!" he exclaimed as he grabbed her hand.
She agreed and followed Brad and the rest of the boys for a tour while I was left to take her stuff up to her room.
I know I only just met her like a few hours ago, but still, I can't help but feel a little jealous that Brad gets to hold her hand...
I took Lydia and we toured around the house with the boys following behind.
I could tell that from the moment I met Lydia that I fell for her. She was perfect. She had pretty, long auburn hair and chocolate brown eyes that just made my heat melt. I just hope she feels the same way about me.
"So, Brad, why don't you show me the upstairs?" she asked, her voice taking me out of my daydream.
"Oh, yeah, sure!" I said.
I was still holding her hand and Connor, James and I lead her upstairs.
We started to walk down the hall and I pointed out each of the boys rooms and her room to her, and then we got to my room.
"This is my room. If you ever need anything, or have a nightmare or need a cuddle buddy," I winked after saying that, "then this is the place to come." I smiled at her and she blushed a little bit.
"I'll keep that in mind." she said, looking down at the ground and still blushing.
Just then, Tristan emerged from her room and came over to join us.
"All your stuff is in your room, so I'll let you take care of unpacking it." he said, as he joined our little group.
"Great, thanks again, Tris!" she said, as she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek quickly, causing him to blush, and me to get jealous.
"Uh, yeah, no problem, any time." he stuttered.
"Hey, guys, I think we should go get some food, Lydia's probably hungry, right, Love?" I said, though I was giving a cold glare to Tristan.
"Yeah, food sounds great!" she said, smiling.
"Let's go out then, find a restaurant or something." Connor commented as he started to walk down the stairs.
The rest of us followed and we went outside and drove off to find a place to eat.
