3. Being kidnapped
I chose to put myself in my room and I sat in bed reading a book. It was so quiet in the house, but I loved the silence. It was as if I was alone and no one told me what I should do. The book was good and I didn't hear the creaking sound. The sound of a door that opened up, and ten legs that steps into the house. I guess the guys knew what they were going to do, where they should go and how they would carry out their plan. I didn't hear the steps on the stairs up to the second floor. It was as if I wasn't listening for anything, and the only thing that mattered was my book.
Right as it was dark fell throughout the house. I was startled, but wasn't afraid. I knew how to changed the plugs in the house and I knew what I would do if the power went off. I put the book on the bed and step out of the room. I felt with my hands against the wall and went to the closet, where all the fuses were. I knew dad had a flash light in there and I found it. I lit it and began searching through the plugs to the power. I found none that was wrong, but saw that the main power was switch is off. I was surprised, but even then I didn't guessed that five guys was standing behind me.
The voice hissed through the house and I jumped. I felt something resembling off a weapon against my back and actually I didn't understand what was happening.
"What?" I got out of me and dropped the flash light on the floor.
"Hands up straight!" said a voice. I obeyed and closed my eyes. I realized that there were thieves and I realized I was in trouble.
"I don't know where the money is." I whispered uncertain, but it didn't help.
"Stand still!" I heard another voice say. I obeyed, because I was sure they were just looking for computers, televisions or jewellery.
"Hands behind your back!" said a third voice. I was too afraid to turn around and see who they were. I was so scared I was shaking and I obeyed the voice. I felt immediately that they put handcuffs on my wrists. I got a hood over my head and then they pulled me out to the hall.
"Not a sound!" said a fourth voice. I didn't understand what they wanted and I was shaking all over.
"I don't know where the money is." I got out of me. I was hoping it would help but instead, I felt someone grabbed my arm.
I was drawn through the hall, down the stairs and out of the house.
"Mom and Dad have no money." I got out of me. "It's foolish to kidnap me and believe that you will get money to let me go."
I heard laughter.
"You should just obey."
I was thrown into a van and I felt the cold floor against my cheek. I understood that they wouldn't let me go and I knew I was in trouble.
"Daddy has money!" I changed my mind because they had to release me. "He can pay you, but please drop me off!"
I heard the van's engine was running. I felt hands that held me down and I felt the entire vehicle began to shake.
"I have dads number on the fridge!" I whispered and started to cry. I felt the hood got wet and I could feel my hands ached. "You can call ..."
I was interrupted.
"It's you we want and not money."
I was shaking and I felt even more hands held me down.
"But I'm not worth anything?"
"You are chosen so feel special."
I shook my head but didn't dare to ask anything more. I heard mumbling and I heard that they were talking in whispers to each other. I couldn't hear a single word, because my ear was low to the floor. I just heard the engine, an old exhaust pipe and my own thoughts. Nothing else!
