The bathroom attached to the room was pretty big. There was both a shower and a bath. There were two sinks with a large mirror across the wall. There was plenty of cupboard space under the sinks and a towel rack. It was definitely more than I expected. I locked the door and undressed myself before hopping into the spacious shower. I let the water run over me. Just as I started to unwind, there was a knock on the door.
"Oi! Z! Let me in, I just needa do my teeth!" Harry said with a chuckle.
My eyes nearly popped out of my head. He wanted to be in here while I was in the shower? I contemplated before quickly snaking my hand out and unlocking the door. Harry walked in with just a pair of skinny's on and I internally gasped.
"It's fine, I won't look," Harry said with a chuckle. "Not that I don't wanna," he mumbled after.
I was glad now that I had hooked my towel over the shower curtain thing. I turned the shower off and grabbed my towel quickly. I wrapped around myself and stepped out of the shower as soon as I was certain that it was not going to fall down. Sure to his word, Harry was standing at the sink doing his teeth. . . and checking himself out. I giggled and Harry whirled around to glare at me before a big smirk broke out on his face. He turned and washed his toothbrush and his mouth out before turning back to me.
"Five. . . Four. . . Three. . . two," Only once he got to two did I catch on but when I did, I took off like a bullet.
I honestly had no where to go but without thinking, I dived under Harry's bed. I heard Harry run into the main room seconds later. I also heard him stop dead. I could just imagine his face. He is probably so confused. I heard him walk around the room quietly and I couldn't help it, I burst out in a fit of giggles and within seconds Harry's head popped up under the blankets.
"OOH! You sneaky little thing!" Harry accused before laughing as well. "Come on, get out from under there. Don't ya wanna go out and make some friends?"
I came out fro under the bed but shook my head. I don't really want anymore friends. I have like five at this school and Harry. . . If you can count Harry as a friend? I don't know what has to happen before you consider someone a friend. I pulled out my phone and opened up a new app, a text to speech app. I quickly typed in what I wanted to say and pressed play.
"Do you want to be my friend?" A robotic voice said from my speaker.
"How I hope you don't sound like that," Harry said with a wink. I felt the blood run to my cheeks as I looked down. "But yes, I would love to be your friend," he said with a bow. "You really didn't need to ask. I already thought we were."
I smiled to myself. Harry was right though I should probably leave this room today. Classes don't start for a couple of days still but I need to somehow explain this to my professors, you know, the whole not talking thing Maybe Harry will help me? I'l ask if he's still here after I am dressed. I walked to my wardrobe, I put all my stuff away last night. I picked up a skirt and one of my favourite shirts. I know I read and sometimes act nerdy and I do enjoy just sitting and playing video games but I am not a stereotypical nerd nor girl. I don't wear conservative skirts, they go just to my fingertips, I quite often just wear a tank top, I wear high tops and skate shoes unless I want to wear heels and I love to ride my ripstik. I bundled my clothes in my arms and quick walked into the bathroom, locking it behind me. I got dressed as quick as possible while standing on a wet floor. Then I quickly did my teeth and made sure I was presentable. That is the one problem so far I have found with living with a boy. . . How can I make sure I look good when I'm sleeping or have just gotten up?
I walked back out into the main room and sure enough, Harry was sitting cross-legged on his bed reading my copy of Vampire Academy. I stormed over and snatched it from his hands, hugging it close to my chest. Harry gave me a puzzled look and I put it away in the top drawer of my bed side table. I grabbed my phone and tapped it out quickly.
"My friend, from the internet, she sent me that book a few years ago and she killed herself about an hour before it got to me. I never got to thank her," the robotic voice was quite annoying.
"I'm sorry," Harry said as he stood up. Before I even realised what he was doing, he pulled me in for a hug. "Do ya wanna come and meet a few of my friends?" Harry offered. I looked up at him and smiled, nodding my head. "Let's go then."I held up one finger and then pointed to my feet. I refuse to go out with no shoes on. Harry smiled as I rushed over to the wardrobe. I pulled open one the draws and pulled out my thigh high black socks and grabbed my DC skate shoes. I sat on the bed and quickly pulled them on.
"What about my hair?" I made my phone say. "And my make up?"
"Do your hair quickly! You don't need make up, so don't worry about that," Harry said as he checked the time on his phone.
I pulled out my hair straightener and heard Harry groan, so I put it away and grabbed out my hair brush and salt spray. My hair was usually mostly straight anyway. I brushed all of the knots out of my hair and then gave it a good spray before putting it into a bun. I will take it out as soon as we get where we are going. That is a good question. Where are we going?
"Done?" Harry asks.
I rolled my eyes but nodded my head anyway. I followed Harry out into the hallway and he locked the door behind himself. When we got down to the car park Harry led me towards his car. I grabbed my phone out quicker than I thought humanly possible.
"You have a Maserati!" My phone screwed up saying the name but he got the picture.
"Yeah? How'd did you know that?" Harry asked. I just laughed at him.
"Do I look like a typical girl? It's a GranTurismo MC Stradale aye?"
"Yes. . . Holy shit you're good," Harry laughed.
Harry unlocked the car and I got in. It was so awesome. The interior was black and red leather and I heard myself gasp.
"Sick aye?" Harry said smiling. I just nodded my head like a fool. Then he started and I swear I almost melted. "Belt up," he ordered.
His friends weren't exactly what I expected but one of his friends was actually one of the people I knew from the chat rooms. He also was not quite what I had expected. I had only seen his face before and the picture I saw was a year old at the time. He has changed quite a bit. He looked like a smart, nice boy at that time. Now he has a full sleeve tattoo and both a lip and eyebrow piercing. Not that I am one to judge. I'm planning on getting a few piercings soon and maybe even a tat. Although I expected something totally other, most of his friends liked me. I was having a good time too until another girl showed up. She had an undercut and a lip piercing but no tattoos that I could see. She had a light tan and was wearing a baby blue dress. She didn't fit quite right with either Harry or his friends, it was weird.
"Oi! Z! Come here," Harry called me over to him. I hopped up from beside Jason, apologising with my eyes, hopefully he would understand. "Zalia, this is Krystal, my girlfriend. Krystal, this is Zalia," I waved and she rolled her eyes while Harry wasn't looking.
"How did you two meet?" She asked.
"She's known Jase for a couple of years," Harry said. That's not how we met.
Krystal grabbed Harry's arm and pulled him away with her. I was left wondering exactly what I had done wrong. Was she the jealous type or just the bitchy type? I walked back over to Jase and hopped up onto the wall beside him.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
'Nothing :) Can you take me somewhere to get my tongue pierced soon?' I handed him my phone. He nodded his head.
"Sure," He said with a smile. " Wanna go today?"
I nodded my head quickly. Jase jumped down off the wall and grabbed my waist to pull me down safely. We walked over to where Harry and Krystal were sitting, making out. Jase did an awkward cough thing to get their attention and I don't know why but for some reason, I hid mostly behind Jason.
"I'm gonna take Z out to get her tongue pierced," he said.
"Why are you telling him? She's your friend?" Krystal said with venom.
"Harry brought her, I was just telling him. Text me if you go back to your dorm so I know whether to bring her here or to her dorm, okay?" Harry just nodded his head and looked at the floor.
I followed Jase away from the group and towards the car park. We walked toward a clunky old car. But Jase walked past it and up onto the curb where there was a motorbike parked. He handed me a helmet.
"I brought it with me, just in case," he said with a wink. I shoved the helmet on my head and smiled as I hopped onto the motorbike behind Jase. "Better hold on tight!"
