"You what?!" Bill's eyes went wide as he stared at his old friend. "How the hell -"
"Doesn't matter! We're in! We're going to get your kids back and stop those visions!" The sheer excitement of the spiky-haired Scotsman, though somewhat refreshing with all the sadness that had been going on, only deepened the demon's doubts.
"I don't know, David. This is kind of risky -"
"Says the one that's been defying Rassilon for 4.5 billion years. Just go get Prez, Girlie, and Billie."
Somewhat reluctantly, Bill turned away from David to teleport to Gravity Falls to collect his wife. He sent a quick mental message to Billie - David got us into the Timescape, meet in the console room in five minutes - before closing his eyes and disappearing.
Prez stared at the ceiling. Despite having slept quite a bit, she was still drained, and knowing a new vision could come at any second wasn't helping at all.
Even in her pathetic state, however, all she could think about was Ben, Brock, Bill Jr, Beau, and Tamora. She couldn't protect them. She'd failed as a mother. And she'd ruined Girlie's wedding by passing out. She'd failed as a sister too.
She choked back a sob and eyed the Tylenol and water she kept on the dresser. If she could only get over to it...
Bill's voice made her jump. "Damn it, Cipher." She grumbled.
"I'm going to pretend your suicidal thoughts never happened to ask a question; my darling Ghost, are you up to a revolution?"
Billie had stopped crying the moment Bill's announcement rang through her mind. A million emotions replaced her self-pity, mourning and despair. Fear. Shock. And something else. Something new.
"Come on." She announced, backing out of Girlie's embrace. "Your husband got us into the Timescape. I think it's high time Rassilon's reign ends."
"You know, your mental connection is really fucking annoying." Girlie grumbled, also getting up slowly.
"Demonic twins. What can I say?" Billie grabbed Girlie's hand and dragged her out of the library.
The moment Bill and Prez appeared in a swirl of blue flames, David was giving instructions.
"Bill and Girlie, you two go and look for the kids. Billie and Prez, you two to the main council room. Distract Rassilon and, if possible, knock him down a peg or two. Only kill if necessary, and -"
"Wait." All four stopped him at once."You can't split us up."
David rolled his eyes. "Then this will take twice as long and be twice as risky." He replied, crossing his arms. "Don't worry. You have weird links to each other and I'll be keeping watch." Then he added more gently, "It'll be fine."
October sprinted down the corridors. Sure enough, a big blue box stood proudly right smack dab in the middle of one of the long white hallways. She groaned and facepalmed.
Billie and Prez were the first duo out of the TARDIS, and the ghost promptly delivered a flying tacklehug to both women.
"October, we don't have time for this." Billie hissed. "Did Rassilon change the layout?"
"Yup." She nodded loyally. "The kids are in the west wing prison except Tamora Jean, she's in the Plane of Lost Souls."
"And the council room?" Prez asked eagerly. "Can you take us there?"
October nodded again. "Follow me," she demanded as she sprinted down the corridor, not having any idea what she was getting into.
