What is Justice?

Ashlan Shaw isn't your average diva. She fights superstars instead of divas. As the Intercontinental Champion, things couldn't be better for the 25 year old. As things begin changing in the WWE however, Ashlan may be forced to face an ugly truth; her worst enemy may be one of her closest friends.

14. DX Vs Jerishow

I paced back and forth as Shawn and Hunter did their entrance. I would've gone out there with them, but ever since the fight Hunter and I had went all over the internet, we decided it would be best if I came out on my own. Fine, I see how it is. I mean, I don't have to help Hunter try and keep the Tag Team Championships away from Jerishow. I am however, a little more compelled to help Shawn with that goal. That's why I stayed in this match.

DX's theme died down and mine started up after a very brief period of silence. Since this was my first match since...wow, since the Inferno Match, the crowd was going crazy cheering for me.

The sound of the fans was really pumping me up for this match so I stood at the top of the ramp for a second and got myself in the zone. I needed to be a hundred percent focused for this match since I knew what Jericho and Big Show were capable of.

Once I finished up my entrance (a mix of Jeff Hardy's and Shawn Michaels' entrances) Jerishow came out. Show had that same scowl that he usually does plastered across his face while Jericho had a confident smirk that really showed off his arrogance.

"You're looking pretty confident for somebody who's going to lose." I said with a smirk as they entered the ring.

"Says the girl who can't go two weeks without getting hurt." Chris sneered. "How's the nose by the way?" He then flicked my nose, causing me to jump back slightly. "Yeah, that's what I thought." He laughed.

I shook the pain away and tackled Jericho, causing the ref to signal for the bell. I dug my right knee into Jericho's chest and began punching his skull. I did it over and over again until Chris forcefully pushed me away from him. My back hit the mat with a ton of force, but I shook it off and got up like it was nothing. I quickly grabbed Chris' leg and tried to set him up for a Figure Four Leglock, but he kicked my chest and sent me back down to the mat. I clutched my chest with my right arm and scrambled to my feet just as Jericho was making it to his.

I backed into DX's corner and began panting. I needed a new plan and I needed one quick because Jericho just tagged Show in. "Well crap." I muttered as I stood up straight and faced Show. I walked out of the corner and almost instantaneously Show's right fist connected with my jaw. The force behind his punch sent me all the way back into DX's corner. After that my head was reeling. I felt somebody tag my shoulder then I was pulled out of the ring.

I fell the floor outside the ring and stayed there for awhile. My jaw was throbbing and I couldn't move it normally. I placed my hand next to my face and gingerly felt my jaw to see what was wrong. I cussed to myself after I traced my jaw line; it was obvious Show dislocated it.

Shawn jumped off the apron and knelt down beside me. "Ashlan I think your jaw is dislocated. I don't think you should wrestle any more until it's fixed."

"Then put it back in place." I said to the best of my ability.

A fearful look worked its way onto his face. "I've never put somebody's jaw back in place. I don't want to damage it worse."

I groaned in annoyance and glared up at him. "Just do it already!"

Shawn nodded with uncertainty and began working my jaw back into place...at least that's what I think was going on. After working with my jaw for a few minutes I felt it pop and jumped up at the sudden pain. I held my jaw and fought back all the profanities I was ready to unleash.

Shawn started freaking out. "Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry Ash! I didn't mean for it to hurt!"

I waved him away with my right hand and pointed back to the ring, implying for him to get back on the apron.

Hesitantly he nodded and got back up there, ready for when Hunter wanted to get out of the match. He would glance down at me every now and again with a pained look in his eyes, but I would always motion back to the ring.

After I felt like my jaw would be fine without me having to hold it I got up on the apron and watched the match.

Hunter had Jericho pretty much beat and Show was outside the ring trying to recuperate. Hunter hit the back of Jericho's neck with his elbow, causing Chris to fall to the canvas.

I was actually quite enjoying the match until I heard a very familiar voice coming through the speakers. I turned towards the Titantron and there on the screen was Randy Orton.

The crowd grew quiet as he began speaking. "DX, you guys seem to be working together so well right now. Will you three be working together after you see this?"

The screen instantly cut to a homemade video of Randy attacking Roman from behind. Chris then came into view and jumped Seth. Dean tried helping them, but a pair of arms came out and pulled Dean away. The camera then panned over to see who had attacked Dean and I was speechless when I saw it was Hunter. After that the video cut off and the Titantron went back to the match.

I turned to Hunter and glared daggers at him. "You attacked The Shield? You attacked The Shield?!"

Hunter backed away from me. "Ash...it's not what it looks like. I promise you it's not what it looks like."

"Oh, so you're not attacking Dean Ambrose right there?" I asked harshly.

Hunter didn't have time to respond because Chris rolled him up for a pin attempt.

Hunter kicked out the second after the referee's hand came down for the three, meaning Jerishow and Show won the titles. Hunter ran his hands through his hair and stared at the floor in disbelief.

I got in the ring and shoved Hunter's chest. "What the heck? I told you to stay away from The Shield!"

Shawn came up behind me and pulled me away. "Ash, think about what you're doing."

I yanked my arm out of Shawn's grip and went back to Hunter. "I told you...I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM!"

Hunter looked at everything but me. His gaze finally rested on the floor and he began fidgeting with his hands.

I growled when Hunter refused to look at me and shoved him again. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"

Hunter's head shot up and he stared icily at me. "Yeah, I attacked The Shield, what are you gonna do about it?"

I made a snap decision and socked Hunter in the jaw. I then stormed to the back and completely ignored all the trainers who wanted me to get my jaw checked out. All I wanted to do was go back to The Shield's locker room and wait for our match.
