"Ooo!" Jessie shrieked. She scampered towards Juicy Couture and I followed, holding 4 bags full of goodies. I wasn't planning on buying anything but Jessie shoved me into a dressing room in every store, making me try on anything that she thought would fit me. I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty fun. I wish Alli was here...
"Can we go back?" I whined. "My feet are getting sore." Jessie and I have been walking the streets for 3 hours.
"Don't be a baby," Jessie said with 6 bags in hand.
"Aren't you tired?" I sighed.
"Nope," Jessie set down her stuff and looked through the first rack closest to her. My arms and feet were aching so I took a break and sat down on the comfy, white chair. As soon as I plopped down on the leather, Jessie spun around and looked right at me.
"What?" I looked back at her.
"No taking breaks," Jessie came over, hangers in hand. She pulled me out of the chair and sent me into the dressing room with an armful full of clothes.
"What do you mean she went out with Jessie?!" I yelled at Liam. What was Jamie doing?!
"Alli, calm down," Louis put his arm around my waist. I pushed him away because I was too worked up about what was going on.
"I came back into our room and their was Jessie," Liam said, sitting on the hotel bed. The rest of the boys were occupying the seats around the room.
"What was she doing?!" I asked eagerly.
"Jessie got Jamie all dressed up and then she said they were going shopping," Liam sighed.
"Jamie whispered that she'll explain to me later right before Jessie pulled her out of the door. She hasn't called or texted me,"
"Something's not right," I shook my head and started pacing up and down the hotel room.
"I don't know any reason why Jessie would've been here..." Liam said. I grabbed my phone and dialed Jamie's number. It started ringing. 2 rings, 4 rings. Nothing.
'Hey, It's Jamie. Please leave your name and pho-'
Jamie's voice mail went off and I hung up. It was the 6th time I had called her. I texted her constantly and that doesn't seem to get her attention either.
"Why did Jessie bring Jamie out shopping?!" I threw my hands up and they fell back down to my sides.
"I'm not sure..." Liam replied. I could tell he was thinking hard. Trying to find reasons. "I've got it!" he said abruptly, startling me a little.
"What?!" I said eagerly.
"It's Jessie's birthday today..."
"And, Jessie might of taken Jamie out shopping for her birthday party. Every year, she has it at the same place, at the same time. It's like a tradition or something."
"What time does the party start?"
"8:00 P.M. and it ends at 2 in the morning. It's held at the Pandora On Green venue."
"Why does she have her party in Pasadena?" She was born and raised in Indiana so it seemed kinda weird.
"She said it was where her parents got married."
"Seems reasonable," I sighed.
"What's the plan?" Louis asked, munching on a cookie.
"I don't know," I shrugged.
"I have an idea," Niall said. Everybody turned their attention to him. "We could dress up like we're going to her party and sneak in there. I mean if we get caught, they'll let us in anyways since we're One Direction and we've attended her parties before."
"Not a bad idea," I raised my eyebrows and nodded my head. "But there's just one problem," I sighed. "If I get caught, I won't be able to get in."
"We'll just say Jamie invited you since she's gonna be there," Louis said. I looked at the clock. It's already 4.
"We've got 4 hours to get ready. Is it gonna be a fancy party or should I wear something slutty?" I asked.
"Slutty," Louis, Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Harry said at the same time.
"Okay then," I quickly shuffled out the door and back into Louis and my hotel room. Time to get glamorized.
"Why do I have to wear this out?" I tugged at the bottom of the dress. I felt like it was too short so I kept pulling it down.
"Stop doing that," Jessie swatted my hands away and tugged the dress back up.
"It feels short," I whined.
"Do you always whine so much?" Jessie straightened out her own dress. We were in her hotel room and I have no idea what we're getting ready for.
"Can you tell me where we're going? I think I've had enough surprises for today."
"My birthday party, duh," she said in an annoyed tone.
"Do I have to go?"
"Do you not have to go?" Jessie replied, lathering on more mascara than she needs.
"What am I supposed to do there?" I sighed. Jessie screwed the mascara back together and put her hands on my shoulders.
"You're gonna have fun. Loosen up a little. You're always so tense."
"Am not," I crossed my arms.
"You are. Now c'mon, this is your chance to be free."
"I am free. It's not like I'm in a cage."
"I've dated Liam before. Trust me, you're in a cage."
"Liam does not control me," I took Jessie's hands off of me and glared at her. Her talking about Liam this way is not okay with me.
"I'm sorry okay? Let's just go," Jessie tried dragging me out of her room.
"I'm only staying for an hour," I declared.
"Whatever you want," Jessie sighed. I guess it wouldn't hurt to have some fun.
