30. Everything But Her
I walked back over to the table where I'd left Jamie carefully so I wouldn't spill the punch I was holding. It was the only thing besides water that wasn't alcohol here. She wasn't there though. "Jamie?" I looked around and didn't see her.
"She's not here," I heard a voice say. I turned around to see Jessie.
"Jessie? What are you doing here?" I asked confused. I thought she was in California.
"I should be asking you the same thing," she smiled and got closer to me, wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Get off me Jessie, I don't have feelings for you anymore," I lifted her arms off of me and backed away a little.
"But Liam, I still love you. I never intended to hurt you," she said.
"Well, you did so leave me alone,"
"Oh c'mon. Just get over it! You know you want me," she smirked and came closer again.
"Don't Jessie! What did you do with Jamie?"
"What makes you think I did anything? Maybe she left,"
"She wouldn't of left without telling me first," I stated and stood my ground. Their was no way Jessie was gonna put me down.
"I saw her walk out the door just a couple minutes ago,"
"She didn't, you're lying," Jessie slammed her lips against mine, taking me by surprise. I pushed her off of me. "What the fuck?!" I yelled, wiping my lips.
"I know you liked it," she smirked and went in for more but I was ready this time. I picked her up and slung her over my shoulder. I started walking up the stairs and headed for a bedroom. "You're going for the bedroom? I never knew this side of Liam," she snickered. I slammed the door closed behind me and dropped her on the bed.
"I'm not having fucking sex with you, Jessie," I said. "I just want to know where Jamie is.
"What's so special about her?! I'm way hotter!" I wanted so badly to slap her across the face but of course, I couldn't do that.
"SHE'S SPECIAL IN EVERY WAY! SHE'S THE MOST AMAZING GIRL I'VE EVER MET! NOW TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK SHE IS!" I screamed.
"You know what? I'm done with you and your little ass. You can find her yourself," she stormed out of the room. I stood there and sighed. I started looking inside of the doors in the room but she wasn't in any of them. Then, I heard pounding. It came from the hallway. I went out there and went to the door where the pounding was coming from. I quickly unlocked it and opened the door.
"Liam!" Jamie said, jumping into my arms.
"Are you okay? Did she hurt you?"
"No, I'm fine. I was just locked in this really hot and stuffy closet," she panted.
"You're safe now," I said hugging her tightly. I pulled away and kissed her, blocking out everything but her.
