"Liam, Liam, LIAM!" I heard Louis yell. I shot up from the couch and looked at him.
"What?" I asked, rubbing my eyes. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 2 in the morning. I was hoping for a good night's sleep since the lads and I shot our new music video all day yesterday.
"I can't sleep," Louis plopped down on the couch, landing on my leg.
"Ow! Louis, you just crushed my leg!" I got up and stretched.
"How can you not sleep? I'm exhausted" I yawned and laid down again. I decided to crash at Louis' since my house was empty. I miss Jamie, keeping me company everyday. My phone buzzed on the coffee table. I didn't recognize the number so I prepared to use my best American accent. "Hello?" I expected it being a fan that found out what my number is.
"Hello, this is Mercy Medical Center. Is this Liam Payne?" I heard a lady speak through the other end.
"Yes," Hearing that it's from a hospital, I got a little worried.
"Do you know a Jamielyne Garder?" she said.
"Yes, is she alright?" I asked, concerned. Louis took notice and concern took over him as well.
"She was just in a car crash and she's currently in a coma," I froze. Jamie's in a...coma? "You can come here if you'd like."
"How did you get this number?" I said, not knowing what else to say.
"Her friend Alli said that you're very close to her,"
"I'll be there as soon as I can. Thank you," I quickly hung up the phone and got up to change.
"Liam? What's wrong?" Louis asked.
"Jamie's in a coma at the hospital. I'm going to see her," I quickly pulled on my pants and shirt.
"You're going right now? It's two in the morning!"
"She needs me," I grabbed my keys and ran to my car.
"Liam! I'm coming with you! The lads would want to go to!" Louis shouted from the door.
"I don't care, tell them if you want. I'm going home to pack," I started the car and drove back home.
I was crying. I couldn't stop. It's the only thing I could think of doing. That's when the doctor walked in.
"I'm sorry for you're friend," he started, looking up from his papers. "Is their any family that we can call?"
"N-no," I stuttered, my knees pulled at my chest. I still had my pajamas on. When I got the call from the hospital, I rushed here as soon as possible. "She doesn't have anybody but me and her boyfriend," I tried my hardest to pull myself together.
"Do you know her boyfriend's number? He should be here," I gave him his number and he walked out of the room. I looked at Jamie on the hospital bed. She had a broken foot and leg. Her leg got jammed under something when her car flipped. I pulled the chair I was sitting on next to the bed.
"Jamie, if you can hear me, please wake up," I felt like an idiot. Of course she couldn't hear me! I didn't care, I just needed to say one thing. "Don't die on me,"
The rest of the band and I took the earliest flight to America. I was panicking for the whole 8 hour flight. When we landed, we took a taxi to the hospital Jamie was in. I practically ran into the hospital. I left my baggage for the boys to take care of.
"What room is Jamielyne Garder in?!" I said a little too loudly, getting the attention the couple people around us.
"Visiting hours are over. You can come back at 8 A.M." she said, calmly. I looked at my phone to see that it's almost 5 in the morning.
"Please, I need to see her,"
"I'm sorry but you can't. You can come see her in a-" she was cut off by a doctor.
"Excuse me? Are you Liam Payne?" he asked, looking up from his papers.
"Uh, yes," I sighed.
"You can go see Miss. Garder if you would like. She's in room 192,"
"Thank you," Before I could rush to Jamie's room, two nurses jogged up to me with some paper and pens. I speed walked to room 192 as fast as possible. I saw Jamie with a cast on her whole leg and foot, laying on the hospital bed. "Jamie," I whispered, walking over to her.
"Liam?" I heard Alli mumble. Her eyes were puffy and she was in her pajamas. "Is that you?"
"Yes, it's me," I pulled a chair next to hers "Is she really in a coma?"
"Yes Liam, she's in a coma," she started crying again and I tried soothing her as much as I could but she wouldn't stop.
"Please stop crying," I kept trying but remembered that the rest of the boys were outside. "Louis' here. You should go see him," she nodded and headed out of the room. After she left, I felt a couple of tears slipping from my eyes. "Jamie, please wake up. Don't do this to me,"
