My eyes fluttered open and I felt lips pecking mine. I blinked a few more times to adjust to the light peeking from the windows and started kissing Liam back. He chuckled on my lips and finally parted from me. I rubbed my eyes and sat up from the bed. Liam was sitting on the edge of the bed with a try of breakfast on his lap. "Did you really get me breakfast?" I giggled.
"I didn't get you breakfast," Liam's smile was wiped off of his face and so was mine.
"Then who got it?" I wondered.
"I made it," He wore his smirk and set the tray carefully on my lap.
"Chef Payne here, huh?" I teased and took a sip of the orange juice.
"The one and only," Liam stuck out his chest and made a heroic face. I giggled and dug into the delicious breakfast. Liam climbed back into the covers and shared the breakfast with me. He'd put on his pajamas after he had gotten up since we fell asleep naked... I had my underwear and one of Liam's tee shirts on. The breakfast consisted of bacon, waffles, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a couple of eggs. Once we've finished with our food, Liam went back downstairs to return the tray and silverware. I took the time while he was go to hop into the shower. I heard the door open and Liam's voice echoed through the hotel room.
"I'm going to take a shower in Niall's room since you're using the shower in here right now," Liam said from the door.
"Okay," I agreed. I'm not one to take short showers. After a while of shuffling sounds in the room, I heard the front door click closed. I sighed and started conditioning my hair. I've been standing in the running water, letting the force of the water cleanse the shampoo out of my hair for a while now. The shower is a good place to think... While conditioning my hair, I heard the door open again. Suspecting it was just Liam and he forgot something, I didn't worry about anything. I decided standing in the shower doing nothing isn't really fun and a waste of time so I quickly finished washing my body and finish rinsing out my hair. I grabbed the soft towel the hotel provided from the metal rail and rubbed the excess water off of my body. I stepped out of the shower and looked for my clothes. "Shit," I murmured to myself. I forgot to get clothes from the drawer before getting into the shower. I hated getting clothes after I get in the shower. I don't know why, I just don't. I crept towards the bathroom door which was open just a crack. My hair was sticking to my back and dripping all of the floor. I stepped out of the bathroom and stopped dead in my tracks.
"Hello," Jessie's devilish smile felt like a stab. She was looking at me up and down.
"What the hell are you doing here," I hissed between my teeth.
"Waiting for you," she said calmly. My eyes caught a pile of clothes next to her but I quickly darted my eyes back to Jessie's eyes.
"I think you need these," Jessie held the pile of clothing in front of me. None of the items were mine.
"What did you do? Steal them?" I wrapped the towel tighter around me.
"They're mine," Jessie glared at me, her eyes burning into my scull.
"Why would you want me to wear your clothes?"
"I have my reasons. Put them on and then we'll talk," Jessie held the clothes out further. All I did was stare at her.
"I don't have to do what you say," I replied finally and walked towards my suitcase to get my clothes.
"I said put them on," Jessie got up and pushed the clothes against my chest. I was taken aback by her use of force. I looked at her for a few seconds more before obeying. I stood no chance against Jessie. She has ways to ruin me. I went into the bathroom to change. After I put on the clothes, Jessie walked in and set a chair next to me.
"Sit," Jessie ordered. I sat and she plugged in a blow drier along with a hair wand. They were both, I suspected, hers. After drying my hair, she curled it and then moved on to the makeup. I have no idea why she's getting me all dolled up. The only other time Jessie's done my hair and makeup is when we were in 8th grade. It was our last dance of middle school and Alli had begged me to come. I agreed and then Jessie somehow figured out that I was going. Since Jessie wasn't a crazy person back then, she convinced me to let her do my hair and makeup. She even picked out my dress. That's the night I started dating Dylan. Jessie set me up with that lunatic that I totally regret being with. But that night, I had the best time of my life. Alli wasn't even objecting anything. Jessie stood me up in front of a mirror and I looked at my reflection. I saw myself but it's not the girl I look like everyday. I might where this outfit once or twice but I wouldn't wear this daily. I look somewhat like Jessie. She was also wearing a bralet but instead of shorts, she replaced them with a skirt.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked, still looking in the mirror. Jessie had found some of my jewelry and started putting a necklace around my neck.
"Because I can," she answered bluntly.
"That's not answer."
"I'm trying to do you a favor here."
"Dressing me up and applying makeup on my face is doing me a favor?"
"Yes." Jessie finally finished putting my necklace on and I slipped on the promise ring Liam gave me. I stared at myself in the mirror.
"Will you tell me why you're doing this now?" I turned and looked at Jessie.
"You're going shopping with me today." She pursed her lips.
"That's not an answer."
"Fine," Jessie sighed. "It's my birthday and the first thing I want to do is appologise to somebody I've hurt."
"Are you sick or something?" I reached over and touched her forhead. This is so unusual...
"No I'm not sick!" Jessie swatted my hand away.
"Why are you appologizing?" I crossed my arms.
"Because, I want to better myself..."
"And taking me shopping will solve everything?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I was hoping this would be a start of a friendship... well, our second friendship." Jessie gave a little giggle. I stared at her and thought about it for a second. It would be nice not to have Jessie for an enemy.
"I guess I could give you a chance," I sighed.
"Really?! Thank you! I'm so sorry about everthing that's happened! I'll do better!" Jessie gave me a hug. I didn't hug her back. I just stood there, stunned at what's happening. Then a thought struck me. Where's Liam? I heard the door open and there stood Liam, staring wide eyed at me. Jessie still stood there, arms wrapped around my shoulders. I stared back at Liam, mouthing 'help'. Liam cleared his throat and Jessie let go of me.
"What are you doing here?" Liam asked. He tried to hide the anger but I could see it in his eyes.
"I'm taking Jamie out shopping," Jessie flashed her toothpaste add smile.
"What?" Liam looked at me. I gave him a shrug in response.
"Well, let's go," Jessie took my hand and led me out of the bathroom. I picked up my phone and purse quickly along the way.
"I'll explain later," I whispered into Liam's ear as I passed him. He nodded and I Jessie pulled me out of the hotel room. Jessie turned around and smirked at me.
"Get ready for the best shopping experience you'll ever have.
