I was sitting in the bathtub for a good hour to an hour and a half. By now, the water was cold and I was tired. I drained the water and took a proper shower, washing by body twice. I heard the front door open and I instantly thought it was Anthony. Quickly, I hopped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my body, locking the bathroom. Shit, I should of grabbed my phone. It was too late now.
"Jamie?!" I heard Alli's voice and was relieved. I unlocked the door and walked out, seeing Alli with a duffle bag in her hands.
"I thought you were somebody else, sorry," I said, grabbing some underwear and pajamas. I was gonna stay home the rest of the day so why not wear comfy clothes?
"Why didn't you answer your phone? Liam thought you were murdered or something so he called me to check up on you," she plopped down on my bed.
"I was in the shower..." I mumbled, heading back to the bathroom to change. I blow dried my hair and put it up in a ponytail to get it out of my face. I still felt sore from what happened and I gently put my boot back on.
"So you're telling me you were in the shower for almost 2 hours?" she asked, looking at me weird.
"I took a bath then took a shower," I sighed, laying down next to her.
"You should call Liam, he's worried about you,"
"Okay," I pulled out my phone and trudged to the living room. He answered on the 2nd ring.
"Jamie? Thank god, are you okay?" he asked urgently.
"I'm fine," I said, even though I wasn't.
"Are you sure? You seem upset,"
"You don't know that. You can't see me,"
"I can tell by your voice, Jamie. Tell me what's wrong,"
"It's nothing. I'm just tired," I hated lying. It wasn't normal for me. Usually I'm really honest but I didn't want him to worry.
"Okay, If you wanna talk, I'm a push of a button away," he said reassuringly.
"I know. I miss you," I said, tears welling up in my eyes.
"I miss you too," I've got to go, I'm going to a signing in a few minutes,"
"Okay, have fun. I love you,"
"I love you too,"
"I love you more," I smiled and hung up before I could start crying.
"Jamie," I heard Alli say behind me.
"What?" I asked, sitting on the couch and hugging a pillow.
"Tell me what's wrong. You're acting up,"
"I'm scared, Alli," The tears finally took over and spilled.
"What happened?" she said quietly, wrapping her arms around me.
"I was... raped," I whispered.
"YOU WERE WHAT?!" she screamed, taking me by surprise.
"Alli, shh," I hushed her quietly.
"When did this happen?! Who did it this you?!" she yelled, anger in her eyes. She was just like an over protective mom but I loved her anyways. When Alli said she would sue the waitress that drugged me, she really did and the girl went to jail. I felt really bad but at the same time, I was kinda happy that she couldn't hurt me or anybody else anymore. Olive Garden even offered us a free meal of our choice.
"It happened earlier today," I mumbled. I was still crying and the flow of tears just got heavier with the thought of what happened.
"WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!" she shouted. I told her about Anthony and she was getting angrier with every word. "He's really gonna get it!" she stormed out of the living room and came back a few seconds later holding her phone to her ear.
"What are you doing?" I questioned.
"I'm calling the police," she whispered. "Hello? My name's Alli Brenan and I have a report to make," Their was a slight pause before she started with the story on the phone to the police. "Okay. Yes. Yes. Please do. Thank you. Goodbye," she hung up and sat back down on the couch.
"Alli, you didn't need to call the police," I said.
"Yes I did, Jamie. He deserves to rot in a jail cellar," she sneered.
"Thank you," I whispered.
"Jamie, you're my bestfriend. I'd do anything for you," she reached over and pulled me into a hug.
"I love you, Alli," I whispered into her shoulder.
"I love you too," I could feel her mouth form into a smile.
