1. One question changed so many things for me
Zayn and I finally got married, and just in time for him to go on tour with the boys. It’s been a couple days and we are just now planning our honeymoon with two weeks before he leaves for eight months. It’s such a long time, eight months; I don’t think I could be away from Zayn for eight days let alone eight months. But the boys are deserving of this tour. They have all worked very hard with their music writing and producing with the help of Simon Cowell and the occasional inspiration from me and the girls.
Although Simon has been busy with the new baby he had been helping the boys as much as possible even if some of it was through Skype. Simon is a great help to the boys and we are all very thankful to him.
After the proposal we rushed off to the church that I had told Zayn about when we first started dating where Irina was there with Kali and helped me get ready. My father met us at the doors and as Kali and Irina entered and walked down the aisle he turned to me and said, “I don’t think I’ve ever been so proud of you, and now you’re just like your sister; all grown up.” He wiped a tear from my cheek and pulled my veil down. Then he put his arm out for me to hold. The doors opened and the music began to play, it the front I saw Zayn with Niall whispering something in his ear before he distanced himself from Niall and stood to the left of the priest, the boys were lined up behind Niall; My sister, Kali and Irina stood on the other side of Zayn in a line wearing light pink dresses and holding pink and white flowers. Looking around I was surrounded by my friends, family and in-laws. Everyone I held dear to me was here.
I love going back and seeing it all again. But now it was just me and Zayn together for the next two weeks, and we still haven’t figured out where to escape from everything for a while. “What about Palm Springs? You talked about how much fun that Irina and you had together down there” Zayn was trying his best to help me pick. We were sitting up in his house, more specifically my favorite room; the sun room. His usually clean carpeted floor was covered in different pictures of places to escape to with labels on each one so that we could remember. “Palm Springs is more of a party place, it’s not super romantic or honeymoony.”
“You’re cute with your made up words, Zayn kissed me quickly and crumpled up the paper attempting to throw it into the other pile of “no’s” that we had gone through, but he missed. Getting up and groaning as he picked up the paper and threw it again he turned to me, “We’re never going to pick something you know that doll? Can’t we just get Irina to pick for us, she knows you well enough to pick a great place for us and I’m tired of these picking maybes over and over again, please doll can we just order in tonight and watch some movies?” he picked my hand up and pulled me over to the bed, “I’ll be right back.” Zayn walked out of the room and down the stairs, he was in the kitchen I assume getting food.
When I got back upstairs with popcorn, candy, soda and some nachos Mere was asleep peacefully in our bed. I looked at my little sleeping angel and couldn’t help but crack a smile; naturally I took a picture just to bug her about later and picked up her head slowly. I wouldn’t ever want to wake her, so I placed the food onto my bedside table, grabbed the remote from her side of the bed and placed her head onto my thigh so that she could sleep again. After turning on ‘Fast and Furious’ I also fell asleep, with Meredith, no; my wife, in my arms.
