That afternoon I went out for a walk around London. I had missed the city even though I hadn’t been gone for long. I don’t know why but this was really my home and no one was ever able to take that away from me. Niall didn’t want to come with me, I guess it was because I most likely would meet up with my crew and get to speak a little with them. I hadn’t seen them for quite some time and as I promised them last time, it was time to spend some more time together, especially now that I was in London as much as I was.
I walk down to the centre and through the parks. I stopped at a Costa Café to get a coffee and then continued walking through the city and the streets I knew better than the ones at home. I walked up to where I knew my friends would be hanging out and by friends I meant my real friends. Not the paparazzi even though they would probably be there as well.
I heard Kendra call my name from across the street down by Hyde Park Corner.
I walked up to her and hugged her tight.
“When did you get back here?”
“Just last night. That’s why I haven’t told anyone yet. Niall and I wanted to spend some time together and then we made it all official a couple of hours ago so I guess I just needed some fresh air to just work with it all. How are you?”
“I’m amazing thanks! We’re on the way to see if we can meet Bruno Mars. Neither of us have met him before so we’re trying to get in touch with the manager and stuff, we could really use you down there.”
“Of course I’d love to. But what about the paparazzi? Don’t you think Craig and Charlie will know by now?”
“Of course but leave them be. Bruno Mars will be the important person if we find him.”
“Yeah you’re probably right.”
“You shouldn’t let them bother you. Of course they’ll ask you questions because of what you’ve made official and because of whom you are but that’s all natural Diana.”
“I know but still Kendra…”
“Don’t worry. Let’s just find the rest of the group shall we?”
We walked around and honestly I have no idea where we ended but we found the rest of the group on a small street in Soho. We had walked quite far and it had taken us some time to get there but it was alright because as we got there so did the paparazzi and no other than Bruno Mars himself. It was really a challenge for me to be there but I had never met Bruno Mars so I was really into this. We weren’t many people there, none of his fans besides the group I was in at the moment. We weren’t many people and I guess that was a good thing because we got an amazing talk and of course we got pictures with him as well.
The paparazzi filmed it all and once again we would be mentioned in the press for being that crew that met everyone. It was kind off a shame that they wanted us to be like that. As soon as Bruno Mars said he had to leave we took our stuff and was about to leave as well but Craig and Charlie stopped us because they wanted to speak with me as well. Their cameras were off and I looked at them with begging eyes because I knew what they wanted to ask about but it didn’t help me this time.
“Diana you know we need to talk about this.”
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
“You’ve been the mystery girl for so long and when you published that post you basically asked for it.”
“But not from my coworkers and friends. I never expected you to use that on me.”
“And you haven’t used us to get closer to people? I know Andy Samuels did a lot for you with One Direction but you wouldn’t have known about that party in February if it wasn’t for me.”
Craig wasn’t much older than me, maybe 25 but he sure knew his way around and had done for all the years I had known him.
“I know but that’s different. I gave you all my pictures and information I got at that party.”
“But you still didn’t give me the one thing that’s been the hottest for the past 3 months.”
“I don’t care okay? You guys are my friends.”
“Just a few questions?”
“So you’re refusing your relationship with Niall Horan after you put it out to the public yourself?”
“I’m not refusing anything; I just don’t want you to talk about it.”
“So you are in a relationship with him?”
“Yes and I have been the mystery girl since the very first time even though I’ve been working with you guys. Yes I was the one he was supposed to meet that day at Primrose Hill back in February. Yes I’ve denied the rumours a lot and so has he but it’s all different now that the world knows.”
At the same time Adam and Kendra pulled me away. I guess they knew what was going on. Somehow I knew it as well. They might not have had their cameras but they did have other devises to record everything I had said.
“And if this comes out anyway Craig I will hunt you down and publish everything. You hear me?”
I knew that was a threat he understood or so I believed because somehow I had just created the biggest drama yet to be found in the One Direction family. I had stolen the heart from that one guy that everyone wanted a little piece of.
