When that Blondie girl will go, I swear I'll kill Zoe.
They talked all the time, and they looked like they were best friends. But I knew better. Without Hannah realizing, Zoe will start being mean to her and she will start using her. I wondered if I want all these bad things to happen to another innocent girl.
Suddenly I heard something pop inside my mind.
"Hey guys" I said.
It was my personal assistants the devil and the angel. They always appeared in my mind when I have a dilemma.
"Hello Linda. Tell me about your bad day" said the devil.
"Oh shut up devil. You'll make her even more pessimistic" said the angel. "How could we help?"
"That's a useless question, since you both can read my mind" I said.
After a few minutes, the devil said "That Blondie girl will get what she deserves. You warned her. If she doesn't want to listen, it's her problem. Like all girls that have blind hair, Blondie is as dumb as all of them".
"That was extremely mean devil! Judging poor girls by their hair color!" Said the angel.
"I'm supposed to be mean".
"I know that" both the angel and I said at the same time.
"Anyway, Zoe is a good actress. You shouldn't give up on Hannah. You should be more friendly to her, and if you try really hard, you could be a better friend of Hannah than Zoe".
"That's impossible" I said.
"Nothing's impossible" the angel said.
"You could listen to me, and just watch the girl suffering from your sister. You're used to it, so it shouldn't be a problem" said the devil.
"Or you could listen to me, and for the first time of your life, you will have a friend, and Zoe would probably be jealous at you".
"Zoe? Jealous at me? That sounds tempting..."
"You see? You should listen to me".
"Don't forget that if Zoe will be jealous at you, your parents reaction will not be good at all" warned the devil.
"You have a point" I said.
"So who do you choose?" Asked the angel.
"Me, of course" said the devil.
"Of course not! She'll pick me!"
"Well, I choose..." I thought really hard. The angel. No, the devil. No the angel. Yes, definitely the angel.
"I choose the devil".
"Oh yea! You see angel? She picked me!"
"That's your choice" said the angel and with a pop inside my head, the angel disappeared.
"Wise choice young lady. Wise choice indeed". Said the devil, and with another pop, the devil disappeared too.
I always pick the devil. I always do. But maybe, this time I should've picked the angel?
