The next day I had to tutor Louis, but during the day I saw Olivia again. I tried to blend in... But it's not as easy anymore. Olivia laughed with two girls at her side and walked up to me. "So... How have you been?" She asked ominously. I stayed quiet. I don't know what happened that one day, but I'm nothing different. I'm still cowardly. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" She asked. I muttered something Greek under my breath and opened my locker pretending to do something inside so I could hide. Olivia just smashed the door shut. I felt extreme pain in my pointer finger, middle finger, and my ring finger. I yelped in pain and pulled me hand away. My fingers throbbed with immense pain and had black and blue indents on the skin already, they swelled up and I couldn't move them. "Oops, didn't see ya there!" Olivia said with a sarcastic puppy dog have. Tears streamed down my face and I winced because of the pain, god that hurt! She had to have broke me fingers! "Oh, quit being so dramatic wimp! It's not like I broke your fingers!" She said rolling her eyes and walking away. Meanwhile I held my three fingers together and sank down to the floor so I was on my knees. I just cried softly until Louis came running to me and kneeled on the floor next to me. "Are you okay? What happened? Can you move your fingers? Do you need the nurse?" Louis asked. "No, I don't want to talk about it, no and yes," I said trying not to cry. "Ok I can help you to the nurse," Louis said helping me up as he led me to the nurses office. "Oh, you see, you need to go see a real doctor for and x-ray to make sure you're okay, but it looks like you've broken your fingers," the nurse said. "But until then, I'll wrap your fingers together with this," she said holding up some medical cloth strips. I winced as she wrapped it tightly so I couldn't bend them. The class bell rang, signaling Louis had to go. "I can't be late for class," I said and stood up walking with Louis to class. "Okay, but you need to see a doctor ASAP," she replied. I nodded and we headed out. "So what did happen?" Louis asked. "Olivia closed my locker door on my fingers... By accident," I said. I lied the last part because I was scared. That scene was a confirmation that Olivia has signed up to be my bully now, and if I told on her... She already probably broke me fingers! She could kill me if I told! "Accident?" Louis asked raising an eyebrow. "Uh-uh-uh- yeah. Y-you see, I-I was in my locker and O-O-Olivia was texting and she-she banged into my locker and, uh, she-she made it close on-on me fingers," I said tripping over me words. "Oh, ok," Louis said not at all convinced. We finally reached the class room and when we opened the door people stared at us and started to whisper. I walked to me desk my cheeks burning with the sudden attention. "Did you two have a problem why are you late?" The teacher asked. Oh yeah, it was Mr. Hemings, the strict history teacher. "W-well I..." I tried to speak but my voice trailed off because everyone was staring at me. "She smashed her fingers in her own locker," Olivia said making everyone turn their heads to her. I nodded as Olivia shot me an ominous gaze. I just looked at my backpack and took out my 347 paged history book named, "HISTORY OF THE UK," I I turned to page 243 and we learned about ridiculous things that I didn't care about. My mind was too distracted from the threatening gazes that Olivia burned into the side of my face. I just did my best to ignore them all day. That's when we were in English class when the bell rang. I darted out to the front of the school and waited to see Louis, and this is when I noticed me hand hurt badly. I felt like crying because the pain had formed a lump in me throat and I wanted to scream in a cry. I saw Louis and tried to ignore the pain. "I was thinking we could study at a secret place today," I told him. He cocked his neck in confusion, "What?" He asked. "I can show you if you'd like!" I said excitedly. "Ok..." He said. I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the private library that was practically abandoned but librarians still ran the place. They knew me well since I go there a lot. "This place isn't exactly secret," Louis said. "Duh! I have a secret place in there!" I exclaimed. I opened the door. "Hey Maria!" I said placing one of the books I recently finished on the counter. She scanned it with her funny, 'gun' and it made a beeping noise. "Thanks Harmony. And who's this?" She asked. "Oh, this is Louis one of my friends, but we have some tutoring to get down to so can I have the... πλήκτρα?" I asked her. πλήκτρα meant "keys" in Greek. Louis didn't know this word though and he looked infused. "Ναί," she replied which meant "yes". I smiled as she handed my the stick. Yes a stick was my key. But it was like a metal tube. I walked to the back of the library and stick the metal tube in the hole that was in the ceiling. "Step back Louis," I said as I took it out of the hope. Then a attic door opened extending a wooden ladder. I smiled and started to climb up the ladder. I popped my head revealing the attic. "Woah," Louis said looking around. This was the attic of the library, but I considered it more of a... Home. I closed the attic door on the floor and set the key on the table. The floor beneath our feet was creaky wood and the walls were crusty plaster, but it smelled of old papers and ink. There was a small mattress on the floor with no bed stand, a soft pillow, and some quilts. There was a small bed stand/table next to the bed that was wood with a small lamp resting atop it. At the back of the small space were a few shields full of books. Then there was a window on the wall that revealed the city roads with cars driving on the streets. I smiled at Louis shocked face. "So, what do ya think?" I asked him. "It's so amazing, it's small, but so... comfy," Louis replied. "Now let's sit on the bed and I'll teach you a few things," I told Louis. "Okay... But, uh, first I want to, I want to ask you something," Louis said. "Ok..." I said waiting. "Well it's in Greek, and I wrote it down on how to say it," Louis replied and took a piece of paper out of the back of his pocket. "Go on," I said. He looked down at the piece of paper, "Harmony, θα πάτε σε ένα ραντεβού μαζί μου?" Louis asked. My jaw dropped at what he said in Greek.
