For What Lies Hidden

A collection of all my poetry in an order I think makes reading it even more fun and exciting.

146. The Jail of the Mind

Frustration building up inside of me

As I struggle to make myself free

To escape the burden of this block

Limiting me and my more worthy stock.

Chains such as these

Grinding against my brain in the breeze

 Force me to forget

And leave me a trembling stupid wreck.

If only I could think

 And create a miraculous link

 Between this and that

Then I could relieve myself of my mat.

Once my intelligence returns

None of my family will be subject to burns

And our life will be restored

Glory and honour upon us poured!
