For What Lies Hidden

A collection of all my poetry in an order I think makes reading it even more fun and exciting.

140. All Is Done

It's over and I no longer have to strain
All is done; my heart free of pain
I can go and do whatever I want
With no burden looming as a thunderstorm over my shoulder.

I shall join the birds who soar through the trees
I will do just as I please
When limits are lifted
It seems worthy to take advantage.

Soon the dread, the ferocious fear, will return
But for now I will drop concern
Begin to live life to the maximum
And do the things I have postponed for so long.

Happiness has never been so prominent
Shimmering as a metal indent
To guide me along my journey
In discovering what and who I really am.
