We pull up to the school and I really don't know what to say. Like, I honestly don't know.
We didn't talk after I said that, there was a thick awkward tension in the car that I felt like it was suffocating me.
I let out a shaky breath and push a piece of hair out of my face. I really want to dye my hair.
Okay- Stevie that's not the time to think about your fucking hair. You could be having a kid soon.
"Well fuck!" I shout out making Ashton give me a concerned look. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!"
I take a deep breath as Ashton puts his hand on my shoulder.
"It's gonna be okay. We'll go and find out if you are or not after school. Okay?" He says and I nod shakily.
I grab my bag from the back and peck him on the cheek before getting out and making my way to the school.
I go over to my locker and I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and give Bella a weak smile. She wraps her arms around me and I start to cry into her shoulder.
"Shh, it's okay. Everything's gonna be okay." Bella says smoothening my hair, even if she doesn't know what the reason is she knows that I'm upset and that something's bothering me.
She pulls back as I get some looks from people. "Stevie, what's wrong?" I let more tears fall.
I don't honestly know if I'm pregnant or not but it's still scary to think it. I've got 50-50 chance.
"It's stupid. I'm fine." When I'm really not fine at all. I feel like I'm gonna throw up because I'm so scared of later.
She gives me a look telling me she doesn't believe me as the bell rings and we walk to our first class.
I wipe my face off and I take a deep breath. I take my seat and Bella sits beside me.
"Hey what's wrong?" Gabby's asks sitting on the other side of me.
"It's nothing." I say waving her off and her and Bella share a look.
I feel my butt vibrate and realize that it's my phone. (Wow blonde moment much) I grab it out and notice that it's Michael.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Stevie? What's wrong with Ashton?" He asks right away and I hear shouting in the background.
I feel my stomach drop. "What do you mean? What's going on?"
He sighs. "He came home and he started pacing and mumbling things to himself then he started crying and I don't even think he noticed and- and now he's freaking out and screaming and crying. He won't talk to any of us. Stevie what happened?" He asks and I start crying again.
"Fuck Michael, come get me." I say standing up earning questioning glances from my friends.
I walk out of the class and make my way to the exit. "I'm on my way already. I'm pulling up now."
I hang up without another word and I see him pull in. I go over to him and sit in the passenger seat.
He looks at me and his eyes go big and worried. "What the hell happened? Why is everyone crying? And where's your stuff- you know what, never mind just- what happened?"
I look at him and groan. "What the fuck did you do, speed here?"
His grip tightens on the steering wheel. "Don't you dare change the subject Stevie Rae."
I sigh and shake my head leaning my forehead against the glass. "I can't tell you unless I'm totally sure."
"Totally sure of what? Stevie I'm so lost." He says looking between the road and me.
I just shake my head and he sighs and the rest of the drive is quiet.
No music. No talking. No laughter. Nothing.
