6. Chapter 5
I looked at her for a moment. I can't say what was on my mind because I'd sound stupid.
"Go home Adelaide." I rolled my eyes and sighed loudly, emphasizing my false-disgust.
"You don't mean it."
"Yes I do. Adelaide. Go. Home."
"Luke, you want me here just as much as I wanna be here. You guys can drive me away, but I'm not going anywhere. I'm trying to bring back what we had. Don't you remember those days?"
"I hate you. I hate you so much and you need to leave. Now. You ruin everything you touch and everyone you go near. Can't you see no one wants you here anyone? Just back off already."
She shook her head into my chest as if she were a baby wiping it's head on a towel for the first time. "Silly Lucas doesn't know what he's saying. It's ok Luke. I know you're scared. You knew how the band acted when I went out with Michael and Calum. You don't want them to hate you. It's ok if they hate you. You'll always have me."
Her smile left an imprint in my brain. She hopped out of my bed and went back into the lounge room.
"What a bitch." Ashton was awake. He probably woke up from all the chitter chatter. "We gotta get rid of her."
"I know right?" I laughed awkwardly. He put his earphones back in and closed his curtain, which meant my chance to sneak into the lounge room.
"Don't you dare go in there."
I sighed again. Guess I'm not going to fix things tonight.
