You Mean It?!

True Love

1. Uhm, do I know you??

My name is Carly. Carly Monroe. I go to Jefferson high school. It's a nice school. A lot of students, a lot of teachers, and pretty good food. Oh, and did I mention the really hot, sexy football players?! Whoo!! They are some fine guys, let me tell you!. Out of all 35 of them, I like Brad. He has blonde, wild hair. A DEEP Irish accent that kills me every time I hear him talk. The cutest and funniest laugh. I just can't tame myself around him...kidding, yes I can, but trust me! It's hard!!

Anyways, back to the story.

I was in History, listening to ol' Mr. Haven talk about the stupid Civil War, which he has taught us like 1,000 times already and some reason he teaches it to us at least 2-3 times a week. I was ready to get up and stick his History book in his mouth, it was really getting annoying, you have NO idea. I couldn't help but just look at Brad the whole time. He was mumbling something to me, but I couldn't really make out what he was saying to me.

"So Mr. Shield, would you like to tell the whole class what you are trying to say to Ms. Monroe?"

"Uhm, No sir. I'm sorry, it won't happen again." Brad says looking down at his papers on his desk, then looking up at me with his cute smirk. I just had to smile.

Later, at lunch, I was sitting with my best friends Ashley, Sarah, and Avery, when I feel someone tap my left shoulder. It startled me a little bit, but what startled me even more was turning around and seeing Brad standing there, behind me, with his smile.

"Uhm Hey Carly." He says to me. I couldn't believe that he actually came to talk to me at lunch. Normally he doesn't talk to me until practice and when we go home or hang out with the team.

"Hey, Brad. How's it going?"

"Uh, it's going pretty good. May I?" He says, pointing to the open seat right next to me.

"Uhuumm." Avery mummbles, getting my attention to look at her face of 'OMG IS HE REALLY SITTING HERE RIGHT NOW" look. Trust me, I was surprised too.

"Yeah, go ahead."

"So, what I was trying to ask you earlier, was, would you like to maybe go see a movie tonight with me? It'll just be us so it wouldn't be SO awkward." HOLY FRIEKING CRAP. HE JUST ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO GO SEE A MOVIE WITH HIM!! OHH MY GOSHHHH

"Really? You want ME, of all people in this school, to go see a movie with you?"

"Yeah, is that okay? Will you be able to go?"

"Yeah, it's fantastinc, I just didn't think you wanted to do anything like that with me. I mean, I know I cheer for you and the team, but we don't talk so I didn't think you really payed much attention to the cheerleaders that don't sit with the team"

"Well, I figured that if we got to know more about each other and hung out more than just the pep rally's and the games and stuff like that, we could maybe do it a little more." He says with the reddest cheeks, and cutest smile I've ever seen show up in his face. I t made me feel like I was really special, and that he had to of thought all of this through before actually doing it, which means, BRAD HAVEN ACTUALLY THINKS ABOUT ME!! OHH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

"Yeah. Let's do it. What time do you wanna pick me up?"

"How about 4:30?"

"That'll be great. But how come so early?"

"Well, I was gonna take you out to dinner too. And I'm paying, so don't worry about bringing money."

"Oh. Ok. Thank you. I'm really excited!" I hug him. I could tell that he was a little shocked that I hugged him but he hugged me back, so it was okay.

"It's 3:30. I want this time to go faster!!!" I say to my mom, who is standing at the counter, cutting me up some pineapple.

"Ding, Ding, Ding" My phone rings. It was a text message. I never get texts at 3:30 from anyone besides Brad sometimes. God, I hope he isn't canceling tonight.

"Hey cutie." the text read. I had no idea who the person texting me was. I didn't recognize the number at all.

"Uhm, Do I know you?"

"You know who this is."

"Uhm, I'm sorry, but I don't." I don't like it when someone I don't know texts me and says I know who they are. I'm just like 'If I knew who you were, would I really be asking you who was texting me? No.' It's just annoying.

"Yes you do. Take a guess."

"I'm sorry, but I don't know who you are so just please stop texting me!"

Well. This is the 1 chapter! Hope you enjoy!!
