Zayn turned the engine off, the purr going out.
"Damn, this is a nice car." He stated, nodding at the car. I nodded, Smiling at Ian. We knew our cars.
The huge sign hung on the top of the roof, in bright orange letters. Friendly fire, the best gun shop in town. we stepped out the car, shitting the doors behind us. We walked up the few steps, walking through the front door.
Guns and ammo lined the walls. Rifles and pistols, along with all types of others filled the empty spaces. Ammo for every gun laid beside it. Pants and shirts, also bullet prove jackets lay on shelves surrounding the shop.
"What would you like, boys?" The store owner, who was wearing hunting gear, beckoned us over to the counter. We stood, looking around.
"Four pistols, two rifles please." Zayn piped up. The store owner nodded, walking over and picking up the supplies. He set it on the counter in front of us. He grabbed ammo, setting it by the guns.
"Is that all?" He asked. We all nodded. He calculated up the price, bagging up the guns and ammo.
"That'll be $2'678." We split it, all of us paying. We grabbed the bag, heading out to the car.
"Have a great day!" The store owner called, waving goodbye. We waved, stepping into the car.
"What a creep." Niall muttered. We all laughed, agreeing with him. He took the guns out, each of us grabbing a pistol. I turned it side to side, checking the heaviness. The safety click was on.
"I'm thinking Liam and Ian get the rifles, since it's there battle and all." Zayn looked at us, "if your okay with that?"
We both nodded. The more power the better. Jarr would pay. He would suffer and die, like me and Ian have felt for over ten years.
"Let's go home and rest. Then, tomorrow, well set phase two-materials." Niall stated. We nodded, Zayn driving us home. The engine revved as we pulled up at his shop. Zayn took the keys out and we all stepped out of the car.
We walked inside, sighing. It was already 10:34 PM. Niall flung himself on Zayn's mattress, Zayn laying beside him. They closed there eyes, instantly falling asleep.
Ian looked at me, as if asking permission. I smiled, grabbing his firm yet soft hand.
"Were a team, Ian. Forget the past." I whispered. Ian smiled, pulling into a hug. We held tight, rubbing each other's backs. I dug my head into Ian's neck, my heart beating loudly.
"I never want to lose you again." Ian whispered. I felt hot tears spill down my cheeks. My throat felt swollen, amongst suffocating. My heart burned as pain overcame it.
"I didn't mean it. We'll always be brothers. I love you. I love you so much." I cried, digging my fingernails into his back.
"God, I'm so sorry. Were together forever right?" Ian asked, pulling back and staring at me.
"Us against the world." I confirmed, holding his hand right. We smiled at each other weakly, laying down on the mattress. We cuddled together, feeling each other's warmth.
"I love you." We both whispered at the same time. We smiled again, drifting into a deep, loving sleep.
