I Fell In Love With The Boy Across The Aisle.
"You got 10 minutes Paulina!" I hear Gemma shout as she passes by my door
My fingers start to tremble slightly as I couldn't believe that today was the big day. I look into the mirror located near me and took one last look at myself. After 2 weeks of searching I finally found the dress that fitted me the best. It was a slightly poofy ballgown that had beading at the top. It was simple and it was me, just the way I liked it.
The make up that the artist put on me was just foundation, mascara, eye shadow and lipstick. I never really used too much make up but today was an exception. My light brown and blonde hair was put up into a bun wrapped around two braids.
"5 minutes! I would get down here now!" Gemma shouts again
"Ok! Coming!!!!" I shout back
This was it.
In the next few moments will be the part of my life I will never, ever forget.
I grabbed my bundle of roses that were waiting for me at the table and walked through the dressing rooms door.
I watched as my bridesmaid walked out the wooden doors that lead to the chapel were my soon to be husband was waiting. Butterflies filled my stomach as I couldn't believe that I was getting married! I was getting married to the man of my dreams, the man that I never thought I could find in this world but some how did.
"Ready?" I hear Gemma ask me as she loops her arm through mine
"Ready as I'll ever be." I smile as I face the wooden door
Here goes nothing.....
The familar tune of 'Here Comes The Bride' filled the air as the doors of the chapel opened wide. Inside sat hundreds of people who's heads were turned to watch me walk down the aisle. So without wasting another second, I take one last deep breath and take my first step down the aisle.
My feet trembled a little bit as I made my way down the white line. Gemma's arm was the only thing keeping me steady. But, despite all my nerves and my trouble to keep balance on my heels, there was one thing I could focus on clearly.
His green orbs connected with mine as my trembling feet walked down the aisle. Our eyes never left each others as a big smile apperead on both our faces. A black tuexdo was placed over his body, making my knees melt, which really didn't do any good despite my current condition.
This was the man I was getting married to.
When my body gave face to face with the end of the aisle, Gemma leaded me up the 2 stairs that separated Harry and I. I felt Gemma's arm leave mine as my hands connected with Harrys now.
This is it.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this company, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony; which is an honourable estate, instituted of God, signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and his Church: which holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence and first miracle that he wrought in Cana of Galilee, and is commended of Saint Paul to be honourable among all men: and therefore is not by any to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly; but reverently, discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and in the fear of God. Into this holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. If any man can show just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace." the priest says before pausing and looking into the crowd of our realtives and friends
Even at that point in time my eyes never left Harry's and the same went for him. We didn't want to look at the other people who were looking at us, we wanted to look into each others eyes and stay like that.
"Ok then, Harold Edward Styles thou have this Woman to thy wedded wife, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honour, and keep her in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?"
The smile never left his lips as he said those 2 words that made me shine brighter than the sun.
"Now do you, Paulina Bella Montegomery thou have this Man to thy wedded husband, to live together after God's ordinance in the holy estate of Matrimony? Wilt thou love him, comfort him, honour, and keep him in sickness and in health; and, forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live?" the priest says, facing me
My eye contact never left Harry's as I replied with the two words that would change our lives forever.
A smile formed on the priest lips as he said the last few words that needed to be said.
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. Harold Edward Styles, you may kiss the bride."
To get my life to this point was a challenege.
Nothing for me was handed down easily, I had to work for it.
Just like I had to work hard to get where I am today.
So I've decided to tell you the story about how I met Harry Styles, from the beginging to the end.
And who knows?
Even though we are married, anything could happen.
