Becca kept this from me. I have a daughter. I could've been there for her. For both of them.
I continue to stare at the little girl in front of me.
I want to yell at Becca for keeping this from me. I want to call her out on it but my mouth never listens.
"Y-You actually named her Darcy."
Niall looks at me confused. I smile up at him and shake my head slowly.
"Before the xfactor," I tell the Irish lad, "Becca and I were dating. She asked me if we ever had kids together, what would I name them? I told her if it was a boy, Kyle, and if it was a girl, Darcy Anne. I've always liked the name Darcy, and Anne because that's my Mum."
"Then he asked me the same question." I look at Becca. "I said Darsen, for a boy, and Dakayla, for a girl."
"You could have picked any name in the world and you picked the name I chose?"
"Mommy?" I look down at the girl, trying to get Becca's attention.
"What sweetie?" Becca picks Darcy up off the ground, and places her on her hip.
"Who are they?" She points to me and the other boys.
Darcy looks at me and stares into my eyes. I stare back. She doesn't have my eyes but Becca's big brown ones. Her hair is filled with dozens of small brown curls, like mine.
"You," Darcy points to me. "Your hair is like mine."
"Yeah, yeah it is." I smile.
"Mommy, who are they?" Darcy turns back to Becca.
Becca smiles and points at me. That's Daddy."
The blonde boy next to me speaks. "I'm Niall."
Then Louis. "I'm Louis!"
"Now that we all know each other, it's time for me and Darcy to go home for lunch."
"You....I....um.." Niall stutters looking at Becca.
Liam talks for him. "He's trying to see if you'd like to come to our flat for lunch."
"N-No...That's fine, I'm just gonna take Darcy home."
"If your afraid of the paparazzi, don't be." Becca looks towards me. "I don't care if they find out. She's my daughter and people will eventually find out anyways."
