I slept dreamlessly, feeling like I was only floating through darkness, but not only that, the darkness was inside me as well, eating away at my soul shamelessly.
I woke up to nothing more, the early rays of sunshine peeking through my orange curtains. Today was the day the boys and I were flying back to Texas for the trial. Now, if you listen closely, you can hear my heart shattering.
I was nervous, to say the least. I took a shower and threw on a pair of sweatpants and a loose shirt for the flight. I pulled my hair back into a braid and put some foundation and eyeliner on. I sighed as I walked down the stairs slowly, pulling my suitcase along.
Apparently I'm the last, because everyone else is all ready and I found Louis at the bottom of the stairs, looking really impatient. I walked past him silently into the car with my luggage, the boys, Gabby, Ray, and Jade following.

I hardly talked at all since morning, but I could tell everyone wasn't pushing me to talk because they just wanted to be respectful.
I swallowed hard as the limo pulled into my city. Luckily, we were staying at the farthest hotel we could from my 'home'. Of course, I wouldn't have to speak at the trial for another day or two, but I'll need to be here before the trial starts.
We soon arrived at the hotel, and we quickly departed to our rooms so the paparazzi wouldn't see us. I walked into my shared room with Lou and Niall, Gabby and Liam shared a room, Ray and Zayn shared another, and Jade and Harry shared the final room.
I sighed and slowly unpacked, and I heard the door knock.
Curious, I looked through the peephole and smiled as I opened the door.
"Hi Cole!!" I kissed his cheek.
"Uh, hi," he said nervously. "What's wrong?" I questioned.
"Uhm. I- I'm breaking up with you...."
"What......" My eyes started watering as I processed what he was saying.
"Well what are you still doing here!?" I screamed. "You break up with me, RIGHT before the trial!? When I need you the most? I gave you two months of my life, love, and time! And this is how you pay me back!" I sobbed.
"GO AWAY!!!" With all the strength and will I had left, I slammed the door shut in his face.
I crawled over to my bed and collapsed, crying until I fell asleep, but sadly, I was used to it....but being used to it didn't make it hurt any less.
