Welcome To My World

Rose is the average teenage girl. She's into the usual teenage pop music, going on tumblr etc. But what happens when she decides to have her diary... online.

(This is totally made up. Rose or anyone else are completely made up.)

Dear Diary,

It's my official one week anniversary of this diary, woohoo! Sorry about not posting yesterday but Harmony was really upset as when we were attempting to go see the Lego Movie again (We WILL go see that movie!!!!) only without Loris this time, someone (a.k.a. Erica Argiles, the school gossip) said "Oh my god, Harmony, I heard about you and Loris and I feel so bad for you two. But he did shoot the winning goal for the school football team!" which set Harmony off again as before the warden came - in like a wrecking ball - and split them up, Harmony had planned a full-on choreographed cheer for him which she would've done at the match if they weren't allowed to be in the same room )unless it's in lessons which isn't until next week).

"Oh Harmony, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to -" Erica began to make excuses as she saw Harmony burst into tears again which was probably causing enough water to give Niagara Falls a run for it's money as she's so miserable and depressed not mention heartbroken because of the dumb rules.

"Yeah, it's probably best not to say anything else. She knows you didn't mean to upset her but it's taken a right toll on her." I hinted at a very guilty Erica before chasing after Harmony (again!).

Today we were in line for the Lego Movie (again) and just when we got to the clerk he told us that he was sorry but there was no more tickets at all for that day but there was tickets for another movie we could go see and then reserve some for tomorrow. So guess what we saw? Frozen, for the eighth time! We all sang along as the same parts as last time (if you can't remember what we were check Tuesday 18th!) with Harmony actually watching the movie properly and giggling at us now Loris wasn't there to take attention away from it.

Afterwards we argued on where to eat, in the end I secretly nipped on a bus with Nephele and Harmony and went into the nearest town to pick up Nando's before hopping on one back to the village to meet the (very hungry) girls who'd been distracting the warden by going to the playground and causing chaos by the sounds of it. It was my first proper Nando's meal and I was glad I'd got mild as it was quite hot. We ate all in no time and went to the playground again to mess around again.

We came home to the dorms and watched "Peter Pan" (Leonie's choice after Lilou said no to her first 10 choices) whilst eating left over popcorn and sweets saved from the cinema. We played our twist on truth or dare, where we've got quite old dares and truths from Year 7 put in two seperate clay bowls covered in horrid yellow paint (we made them in Art which we had to do as part of course of DT subjects). I kept picking Dares as they were really easy, I got: do the chicken dance (The Birdy Song by The Tweets as it is properly known), impersonate someone in the room (I did Leonie and made everyone even Leonie herself laugh), pull the silliest face possible (I went cross-eyed whilst doing a 'Here's Johnny' face making everyone laugh again) and sing a song where I belted out 'Let It Go' which I know every last lyric to which no one laughed but they all stared at me.

"What?" I asked them, confused to why they were staring and not mock-applauding as always.

"That was really good." Harmony smiled. I thanked her, thinking she'd just said it as compliment but the others insisted I sounded really good. Then there was a knock on the door, Erica and all the other girls who had stayed on at the school rather than go home were asking who'd just sang. Eveyone in the room pointed at me. The other girls weren't convinced and asked if I could sing to prove it.

"Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore, let it go, let it go, turn away and slam the door, I don't care what they're going to say, let the storm rage on, the cold never bothered me anyway." I sang again. Then they said I was good and asked if I knew anything else.

So I sang "The Wizard and I" from Wicked which I'd sung in the last school production and knew by heart.

They all said I should be a professional and take lessons before they left.

"I know you're only saying that to keep me happy. It was completely mediocre!" I told my friends when Erica & co had gone.

"No, you were great. We know you took Textiles and Performing Arts so on Monday, prepare to be dragged to Music at break!" Leonie exclaimed.

I laughed it off before waving goodbye as my friends left and Electra, Harmony and I got ready for bed early.

I'm actually sat under my duvet, typing this quite slowly trying not wake the others.

Wait, is that crying? Uh oh, Harmony must be dreaming about Loris again, and today went so well like we had the old Harmony back.

Right well I better go cheer her up so bye guys,
