Oh. My. God. So much has happened since I last updated! Speaking of which, the lack of updates has been because of it. Let Rose talk it through.
On the 5th of March, Electra had continued to act weird (see 1st March) so I carefully asked her about it. Then she went completely ballistic! I asked the others (sans Harmony as she has only just cheered up) if they noticed her acting differently and... nothing.
Pretty much we continued with our lives as always, messing around, going to school and messing around then visiting the local village and town. But Electra didn't. She'd brush us off and continue to stay quiet. She even kept wearing an old bobble beanie (she'd made it in Year 9 but never wore up until then as she called it lame with a capital L) and listening to music rather than acting like her normal self.
I left it up until last Monday, by then the others had cottened onto her so I cooly re-asked her and she just went: "I've not been acting strange. What are you talking about?" in a deadpan voice.
"Erm, hello! Since when were you quiet and shy, you're Electra. You've always hated that hat since you made it, you called it stupid last year." I pointed out.
"You're acting strange. Since when were you so nosy." she replied, again in deadpan and she stormed off.
The others daren't ask her until yesterday when we came home from rehearsals (Electra's character wasn't in the scene we were doing) and found out that she'd dyed her hair a much darker brown and cut it into a bob with a full fringe.
"What the heck, Electra?!" Leonie and Harmony exclaimed at the sight of her.
"Hey guys!" Electra grinned, her voice still deadpan.
"Your hair!" Zandra gasped.
"You like?" Electra chuckled.
"Yes, uh, very fetching." I tried to compliment, scared she'd snap at me again.
"Fetch will never happen Rose!" she rolled her eyes at me.
"Are you feeling okay? Why? Why dye and cut your hair? Why act quiet? Why wear that damned beanie all the time?" Lilou asked.
"Cause I can!" Electra snapped, putting the beanie on her head and leaving.
She never came back 'till this morning. But she won't talk.
Uh oh, MATRON!
Bye bye buddies,
