Chance has been acting weird. She's be talking then stop staring off into space. My hatred for her has shrunk cause my love for her grew to new heights. Maybe we can try the whole boyfriend and girlfriend thing again.
I knocked on her door gently. "Come in." She screams. I walk in and she smiles. I loved that smile. "Hey." I smiled, sitting on her bed. She waved. "So how's life?" I ask. She giggles. "Well, life's okay I mean it could be-" she froze as she spun her head around to her window watching it. "Could be what Chance?" She didn't reply. It was like she was in her own world.
"Chance." I call for her but she doesn't listen. "Chantelle." I say, no reply. "Chantelle Sarah Styles!" I scream, putting my hand on her shoulder. As soon as I made contact she screamed and spun around and it was pure terror in her eyes. She spun back around but then turned to me, shaking gently.
"Chance what's wrong?" I hold on of her hands. "It's just...if I tell you, you can't tell anyone." I nodded. "I-I see dead people." I rolled my eyes. "Chance real-" she cut me off. "No, let me rephrase that. I see Zayn and Louis." I shook my head. "Chance the-" she cut me off. She spun her head back to the window. She squeezed my hand. "Chance what's at the window that's so interesting." She didn't reply. "NO!" She jumped onto me sending me backwards onto the floor.
I groaned, what's wrong with her?! "Z-Zayn." She stuttered. "What about him." I bit back the tears. Anytime they were brought up I would tear up. "He's gonna kill me." She said her voice barely even a whisper. I just stared up at her. "He's at my window." She mumbled, rolling off me. I sat up, looking over the bed. No sight of him. "Would you stop playing." I rolled my eyes. "I'm not joking! He was there!" She stood up. I shook my head. This is enough lies for me today.
I began to walk towards the door when she grabbed my hand. I turned around to find her generally scared. Her bottom lip quivered. "Please Niall. I'm scared." I sighed. "Please." She begged a tear escaping. I wiped it away and wrapped her up in my arms. She was shaking. I was surprised she was able to stand at how hard she was shaking. "Chance we need to tell the others." She looked up, and pushed me away. "NO! THEY ALREADY THINK I'M CRAZY!" She sat on her bed. I watched as she shook holding her head, her ears covered, she didn't look up as I spoke to her. "Chance. We have to. Look what it's done to you." She rocked back and forth.
"I'm not crazy Niall. I'm just special. That's what that voice in my head says. The nice on though. I think that's Louis. The mean ones Zayn. He's usually louder than Louis. Weird right? No one's louder than Louis Tomlinson." She laughed. She began to scare me. I backed away slowly. The boys needed to see this. She looked up and the darkness in her eyes made me freeze. It was like those horror movies, when the child looks normal then all of a sudden they look up with those dark eyes and attack. "You can't say a word. I'll make sure you won't." She stands up, and pounces at me I run off into the opposite corner, she almost got me. "HELP!" I screamed. She ran for me again but I darted for the bed grabbing a pillow.
"HELP ME!" I squealed. She jumped onto the bed. "Come at me bitch." I spat. She froze as the door bursts open. "What's going on?!" Harry yelled. She turned around and I took the chance to run over to the others. "Chance is crazy! She sees Zayn and Louis no joke, this girl tried to make sure I never told anyone. She's turned into a bloody nutter!" She laughed. "Are you sure you haven't gone a bit mad Niall. I mean, you sound a little crazy. We were just playing a game of tag and he got the wrong idea. In no way was I trying to harm or endanger you Niall."
"She's lying! C'mon Harry y-" he cut me off. "I believe you. Chance never uses fancy words like endanger unless she's trying to hide or cover something up." She froze. "Is it time?" Liam asked. Time for what? "Yep. Chance c'mon." She hopped off the bed. "Where are we going?" "It's a surprise. Just trust me." Harry put out his hand. She grabbed it and they both walked out.
"Can we go with them?" I whisper to Liam. He shakes his head. "It's something they need to do together. A family thing." A family thing? I wonder where he was taking her.
