33. The night and my dreams
That night, fell Niall asleep in the bed.
He was close to me and it was as if he needed closeness.
"Will you ever let me go?" I got out of me. Niall curled a bit on himself and he groaned.
"Why do you ask?"
"I want to go home to the family!"
Niall sighed and he sat up in bed.
"I want you to stay. You're the only friend who I have. You are the only one I care about and I know that I was bad at showing it." He looked down at his hands. "I'll try to get better to show what I feel, but it's hard when I haven't been around people before."
I wanted to scream straight out, so that he would understand that this wasn't about him. It's was about me and my life. I wanted to go home and I didn't care about him or his feelings.
"Can meet my parents and you can let me meet them, just for a day?"
He quickly shook his head.
"No, you shall not meet them, they will put me in jail and tell you that I'm crazy. I'm not crazy."
Okay, what would I say to convince him?
"But I don't want to live here, Niall."
He sighed and lay down again. He didn't answer, but seemed to forget that I had an own opinion.
"Go to sleep now darling. We can talk about it tomorrow?"
"Please God, help!" I mumbled when Niall had fallen asleep. I wanted to take me away from the barn and I wanted to get home, but I had realized that I couldn't succeed on my own. Niall would just stop me and he would ruin everything. I wasn't free until he released me. The question was whether he would ever let me go? I saw before me the way I was aged and was here until one of us died.
