- ~A/N~ okay some imma skip forward in the book because I can't really think of anything more to fill in and I don't want to put it on hold.-
It's been about a week since I got the phone call. God that was an awful day.
"Hello" I answered my phone quickly, while juggling making food for Andrea.
"Hi, is this Niall Horan??" I heard a voice ask from the other end of the phone.
"Yes, may I ask who this is??" I asked pouring some milk into a pot of mac & cheese.
"This is doctor who" he said after oh'ing as he remembered he forgot.
"Shit" I muttered as I spilled some on the floor.
"Excuse me??" He said a little taken back.
"Oh no not you, sorry" I said awkwardly. "What can I do for you??" I asked trying to clean up the milk and not mess up the food.
"It's about Samantha, she passed today" he said taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry for the loss" he continued sympathetically.
"I don't know what to say, thanks for the call" I stumbled out numbly, hanging up on him.
"Daddy, can we see mommy after lunch??" Andie asked sweetly as she shuffled into the kitchen.
"We can't" I said quickly.
"Why not??" She whined.
"We need to talk, sit for lunch" I said filling her up a bowl.
"What are we talking about??" She asked excitedly, eating happily.
"Baby, remember how we had the talk about mommy??" I asked quietly.
"Yeah, you said mommy will go away to heaven soon" she answered with a smile.
"Well today, god decided he needed a new angel and only mommy was worthy of the job" I tried to explain, a tear falling down my face.
"She's gone?!?" Andie said shocked. "I didn't even get to say goodbye dad!" She whined loudly.
"Princess, come here" I said picking her up and hugging her tightly.
~end of flashback~
Since then me and Andrea haven't really left the house, but today is her funeral.
"Andie, let's get you dressed" I called from my room as I was fixing my bow tie.
"Okay" she said grudgingly, as I followed her to her room. I grabbed out a pair of black tights, black lace dress and a pair of white converse.
"Let's go, we're meeting everyone there" I said as we grabbed our coats and rushed to the car.
"I don't want to go" she said as we were driving.
"Why not??" I asked concerned.
"Because, I don't want mommy to be gone" she whispered, I could barely hear her.
"It'll be okay baby, I'll be there for you" I said gently.
"Promise??" She questioned hopeful.
"Promise" I said as we pulled up to the church.
"I want up, don't put me down" she said as she got out of the car.
I took a deep breath and walked into the church with a brave face. As I took a seat next to the boys, they all gave us sympathetic looks. I just waved them off and it seemed as if it went by in a blur and suddenly we were burring her in the cemetery.
"Can we go home now" andie cried into my shoulder.
"Of course, you guys coming over??" I asked turning to them.
"Sure, we'll bring pizza" Liam smiled.
"I'll see you there" I said awkwardly, going home.
"Why can't I have mommy back, I want mommy back" andie cried loudly from the back.
"I'm sorry, it's just a part of life" I shrugged sadly, I hated seeing her like this.
"I don't like it" she whispered, then an awkward silence filled the car.
"We're here" I muttered as I got out of the car and got andie out as well. "Uncles are coming over soon, let's go pick out some movies" I smiled as we walked into the living room.
"Okay, anything I want??" She laughed as she picked out a pile of Barbie movies.
"Of course" I struggled out as I looked at the pile.
"Yay, go get the door" she said as the doorbell rang.
"We're here" Louis said, bursting in.
"Movie time!" Andie cheered climbing onto my lap with a slice of pizza in her hand. "I'm tired, daddy" she yawned a couple movies later.
"Okay, let's go" I said picking her up and changing her into her pjs.
"Daddy, I miss mommy" she sighed as she cuddles into me as I laid next to her.
"Me too, I still loved her a lot" I sighed as well.
"Why didn't you tell her??" She wondered.
"I don't know" I said quietly.
"Well if mommy didn't love you, I do" she said giving me a sloppy kiss.
"Awe, I love you too" I chuckled.
"I'm ready for bed" she said getting under the covers.
"Goodnight" I said giving her a kiss and shutting out the light.
"Night!" She called as I shut the door.
"Let's get drunk" I said as I walked downstairs pulling out bottles of alcohol.
