"I was." I said, amused on how much she knows us.
"And was it worth it?" she asks as she pulls out a twig from my hair.
"A score of 4-1 in hide and seek, in my favor, I can say it isn't bad at all."
She glanced over my shoulder, smirking at the boys. "She got you good there."
I heard the boys whine making Mama Ellena and I laugh some more.
"Anyway, we can't have you waltz in the house looking like that." She said giving me back her full attention. "Come inside, all of you. I just prepared a tub of hot water, just how you like it princess."
"Mama Ellena, I can't-"
"Oh, shush," she waved a hand over my face, shutting me up, "the guests arrived earlier than expected and I doubt that your mother would appreciate you making an impression of queen of the jungle instead of the perfect princess that you are."
"Mama Ellena..." I whined.
"Now go on, get cleaned up." she pushed me into the house, "you boys also get yourselves cleaned, while I prepare your clothes."
Mama Ellena is our pack healer, and also the wisest and oldest member of the pack that I knew. She thought me everything she knew in healing, made me read books of magic and history, even taught me to cook.
Father had asked her thousands of times to live with us at the mansion but she refuses to, saying that she is needed by the pack, that she'd feel better if she was in the heart of the kingdom. So father had a house made for her, where she houses healers and even injured.
Liam and I use to escape school or the mansion to hang our here, much to our parents disappointment, but like what my dad says. Better here than elsewhere.
I entered her bedroom where she always treat me or have me cleaned when I get to whiled with the boys.
"Good noon princess." One of Mama Ellena's student healers bowed.
"Good noon." I smiled, "Mama Ellena said that a bath is ready?"
"Oh, yes..." she says and ushered me to the bath room. "Please say if you would like it to be warmer."
I sat at the edge of the stone tub and dipped my hand, I looked up at the girl and shook my head, "It's perfect, thank you."
She smiled back, "I'll leave you to bathe now, princess."
"Thank you." I said
She owed again and finally left. I then stepped in front of the mirror and looked at myself. I had to laugh seeing my reflection. How the boys held there laughter on the site of me I don't know how. I start to shed of my clothes and stepped into the shower to remove the mud first, I don't think taking a mud bath would help with the cleaning.
After five minuets under the shower I slowly walked toward the tub and eased myself in. I sighed as I leaned my head on the stone and closed my eyes.
"Well, that looks fun."
My eyes opened in the sound of an unfamiliar voice, I looked around frantic and saw a boy standing by the door.
I quickly grabbed the towel over head and pulled in down to me to cover me up, not caring that it was now soaked.
"Who- who are you?" I snapped.
"Does that even matter?" he smirked
"Leave!" I said, "Cant you see I'm having my bath."
He chuckled, "Oh I can see."
I felt myself blush, "I said leave!" I snarled. "In case you don't know, bathing here is done in privacy."
"Well, so are other things that are running through my mind right now." He says.
"I said, leave!" I said, this time with authority.
"Ooh, the alpha tone." He teased and stepped inside. "Had heard it, have it and sick of it."
I glared at him as I look around for something to throw at him.
"Oh, please, don't bother hurting me." he says, "That would be too much to ask for from the Daughter of the Moon."
I looked back at him, this time studying him. he was tall and lean, probably around my age. He had a good built, almost as good as Liam's and Siam's yes I've seen their torsos, they are shifters after all.
"Too bad we still have to wait until your birthday to know who your mate is." He said stopping half way.
"And I swear to all that is good that it isn't-"
"Ah-ah...no using of powers." He raised a hand making me stop. "We can't question the fates until we have tried, could we?"
