"Please don't freak out." I said as I was ironically already hyperventilating. "Sara, just tell me what happened and we can work this out." "Okay, Harry told me that he could drive me home because of my concussion. Then a man came to the hospital to pick up my keys and get my address from me. He told me that he would drive it home for me but..." "But it's not here." She finished my sentence. "Okay Sara, let's just stay calm, why don't you just call Harry to contact the guy who has your car! See, it's gonna be fine." My heart sped up again. Now I felt adrenaline at the very tips of my fingers, it was building up with every sentence we spoke. "Mum... I don't have Harry's number!!" That's when the arguing broke out.
"You spend a day with Harry Styles and don't even get his number?!" "First of all, I did more things than get his number, and second of all, you're always telling me to stay away from boys!" "Because this is what happens! Your car is gone, because of that boy!" "Mum, you just contradicted yourself, you want me to get his number then get away? Is that what you want?" "It's Harry Styles, you're never even gonna see him again anyway so if you were already flirting, getting his number wouldn't do any harm!" "But I am gonna see him again though." "And what makes you think that?" She asked sharply. "I just know, okay. I just do!" I got up and walked away, faking a migraine. If I had stayed in that room any longer, it would have been real. "You can't have a relationship without communication!" She yelled over. I ignored her suggestion and kept walking. The best day of my life had somehow morphed into the worst.
Two days had passed. Two whole days of torture, of my car being gone, my relationship with my mum gone. And more scarier, Harry gone.
I was scrambling up some cheesy eggs when I heard someone pull up. For the past couple days, the mood had been tense. My mum and I stopped talking, and I couldn't go any where because I had no car. Every minute that passed by made me feel worse.
I opened my front door and peaked my head outside. I watched as Harry pulled up my driveway. This instantly made me happier but Harry wasn't in his car. He stops his car and gets out. "What? Did you lose your car, too?" "No, love." He simply relplied. "Oh, I'm an idiot. You probably have dozens of cars." "No, love." His reply, the same.
Oh Harry, so simple minded yet deeply intelligent.
I gave him a questioning look. What was up with Harry this time? His smirk appeared on his face. "This is your car." He said plainly.
"Harry, did you buy me this car?" "I did." I ran into him and squeezed him with all my might. "OH MY GOSH! I cannot believe you. How did you know I needed a car?!" "I called the man that was supposed to drop yours off and he said he did. But he sounded suspicious so I drove over here myself to see if he was lying." "Wait so did you ever find out what the man did with my car?" I asked concerned. "Well I ended up calling the police and they haven't found him yet." "Oh, well you just made my day a million times better, you know." I said biting my lip. Then I started laughing uncontrollably. "Harry, did you forget something?" "What?" he looked around. "How are you going to get yourself home if that's my car now? Did you do that on purpose?" He laughs at himself. "No no, I'm just an idiot sometimes. As he brightened up my day, I pulled him inside.
Now that I had a car, my mum wouldn't have a reason to hate Harry as much; which meant it was the perfect time to introduce them. I mean it had to happen at some point, I just wanted to get it over with.
"Mum?! I yelled when I stepped inside my house. She came downstairs from her bedroom in her pajamas, clearly embarrassed. "I have someone you should meet!" She shook his hand. "Harry this is my Mother. And mum this is Harry." "Pleasure to meet you." Harry said. Them I quickly mentioned, "Before you judge him, he bought me a new car because my other one was stolen." Her eyes filled with joy as she said, "Ohh, that is so, so generous of you!" Yep, she couldn't hate him now.
"Harry I just made breakfast, do you like scrambled eggs?" I asked. "I love them scrambled." He said politely and set out plates for us. It made me happy to watch Harry devour my food.
"Breakfast was lovely, Sara, you're a great cook." "Thanks, you'll have to cook something for me sometime."
After breakfast Harry said, "You know, you're the one that's going to have to drive me home now." "Oh, a test drive. C'mon!" We got into the car and he showed me the way. "Now, don't get us lost like I did!" I insisted. "I'll try my best. Sara, make a left turn in... 10 ft." "HARRY!" I pulled the wheel to make sudden sharp left. "Yes, darlin?" "Try not to be my g.p.s. maybe?" I snapped back.
We had finally made it to my house after some long conversations and lovely sharp turns. Hey, I didn't get us lost. After Sara pulled up into my driveway, I didn't want her to go. So I invited her in, but then I forgot. Some of the boys might be home... and I hadn't told them about Sara. Would they remember her from the meet & greet?
"Would you like to come in?" "I'd love that." Then I got out of the car, walked around to her side, and opened her door. We held hands as we walked up to the door. I pushed the door open and slowly walked in, turning our heads. Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn all turned their attention from the T.V. to us. "You didn't tell me they'd be here." Sara shyly mumbled, squeezing my hand tighter. "Well hello, mate." Louis loudly announced. "Hello, everybody this is Sara." "Are you...?" Zayn started. "From the meet and greet, yes, I am." Sara finished. I pulled Sara closer and we sat down on the couch next to each other. "Are you hungry, Sara?" Niall asked. "I'm always hungry." Sara told him. "Harry, I like this girl of yours." There were chips and dip on the table that we devoured in minutes.
After we got kinda bored, we played a game of charades. Louis went first, and with his big personality, we guessed in no time. Then when it was Sara's turn, she whispered in my ear, "Only you will get this." With that, she got up and was about to start acting when we heard a loud pounding on the door. Sara gasped. "It's fine it's probably fans that want to see us." I reassured. But when we heard a bullet go through the lock, the door slammed open. A man walked in and said, "Harry, I got you again. And I'm not gonna let some stupid little girl sweet-talk me out if it this time." All of us stared at him, unmoving. It was the man with a gun.
