3 days later. Wednesday.
I stood in the lobby, staring out the exit doors. I had plaid pyjama pants on, and a robe that was open, revealing my shirtless upper body. My hair was a mess from the lack of brushing it, and I had woken up about 30 minutes ago. It was 11:45 Am. I held a cup of tea, slowly drinking it.
There were now hundreds of girls, and American security blocking them off. I watched as Zayn, Louis and Liam took pictures and signed things for the fans. They were all screaming, and some waving at me, except I made no attempt to do anything.
Electra hadn't texted me once at all since Sunday. She wouldn't even answer my calls.
I sighed, and headed back to the elevators.
I took out the key to our room, unlocked the door, and walked inside.
"Niall? Is that you?" I heard Harry's voice call out.
"Yep," I answered, placing my empty cup down on the table beside me. Harry appeared in front of me. His curly hair was all messy as well, since we were the last ones to sleep in. He wore no shirt or pants, only boxers. This was normal for Harry. He even sometimes walks around naked.
"There's something you gotta see, Mate!" He exclaimed, grabbing my hand and dragging me towards the living room. He pushed me onto the couch, and grabbed the laptop off the coffee table.
He had YouTube and some video opened. He placed the laptop on my lap, and pressed play anxiously.
It was obviously someone recording from their phone, from the not-so-amazing quality, but it wasn't that bad. There were a few girls around the person recording, and one in front of them, seeming like the leader. There was another girl farther away from them, who was just passing by.
The leader one then spoke up. "What does Niall see in you? Really, you have no curves at all. You're just a stick." The other girl stopped, and turned to the group of girls. My mouth dropped open slightly.
"Is that Electra...?" I asked, looking at Harry. He nodded, and pointed to the screen, telling me to keep watching. I looked back to it.
After a few minutes of the girls insulting each other, Electra had won, and began walking away. I couldn't help but notice that she had my clothes on.
"When was this?" I demanded. Harry sighed.
"It was posted on Sunday afternoon to Twitter, and someone uploaded it to YouTube. Assuming it was earlier on Sunday, since she still had your clothes on." Harry said. I frowned, and signed into Twitter.
"What's Electra's Twitter name?" I asked Harry.
"I'll ask Lindsay. Let me call her." He said, grabbing his phone from beside him. He dialled a number and pressed the phone to his ear.
"Hello? Hey, Lindsay, it's Harry. Sorry, am I interrupting class? Oh, you're on lunch break, good." He paused and smiled. "I'm good, thanks for asking. How are you? Really? Alright. Anyways I was calling to ask what Electra's Twitter name was." He paused again, and looked to me. "Okay, thanks Lindsay. I'll text you later. Bye." He then hung up.
"It's Niactra." He said.
"Odd name, but okay," I typed in the name, and found her account. I clicked on it, and saw she had over 678k followers.
A whole bunch of tweets to her were saying "Oh my god, marry Niall right now" and "you make him so happy, I can tell! Get married please".
But then there were a lot others that were said some horrible things. I read through tons of them, angrily.
"Why do people hate her? She's perfect!" I complained. Harry shot me a funny look.
"Well Niall, she thinks the opposite. Electra hasn't been to school since Monday morning. She left after lunch again and hasn't been back. Lindsay said she isn't answering her phone either." Harry said. I frowned, and stood up, handing him the laptop.
"This is ridiculous. I'm gonna go visit her. What's her address?" I asked, grabbing my phone from the table. Harry took his phone and sent Lindsay a quick text. A few minutes later, his phone beeped.
"35 Sunny Rose Court," He said. I nodded.
"Thanks Haz. I'll be back soon!" I called out, as I ran out the door of our hotel room.
I ran downstairs instead of taking the elevator, and walked out the front doors, in nothing but what I had before. All the fans began screaming, and all the cameras began flashing.
A security guard waved someone over, which turned out to be a limo, and it drove over; stopping in front of me.
I got inside, and was about to close the door, when Liam appeared and grabbed it.
"Niall, where are you going?" He questioned. I looked up at him, with Zayn and Louis behind him.
"I'm going to clear things up with Electra." I told him. He sighed, and then smiled, patting my leg.
"Alright, lad. Good luck." He said, and shut the door. I smiled, and looked out the back window as the limo driver drove away from the hotel.
I watched as the 3 boys watched the limo until I could no longer see them.
"Where to, Sir?" The driver asked.
"35 Sunny Rose Court," I answered, taking out my phone.
I went onto Twitter, and tweeted.
"i hope you guys know I am not happy at all with all the hate electra is getting from 'fans'. If u were really a 'directioner' you'd be happy for us both! i am very upset and i can understand that el is too"
I got thousands of Re Tweets, favourites and responses right away.
About 15 minutes later, the limo stopped in front of a huge house. It was actually a mansion, I believe.
I climbed out, and stood at the driver's window.
"Come back in a few hours." He nodded, and drove off.
I stared at the big house, and walked up to the front door, which took awhile since the driveway was so long.
I looked at the door dumbly, before taking a deep breath and ringing the doorbell.
It sounded like someone ran down the stairs and up to the door.
"Lindsay, I told you to leave me.." Electra began saying, but trailed off when she saw me. We both stared at each other. Her brown hair was a mess, and she wore sweatpants, a baggy shirt, and Toms. Her eyes were also red and puffy.
"Niall..?" She asked, looking genuinely shocked.
"Hey... I saw this video of these girls being mean to you, and all of the hate on Twitter.." I said, jumping straight to the fact. She still looked surprised as she started to blush.
"O-oh.. You did?" She asked. I nodded.
"Yeah. I just wanted to make sure you were okay."
She stared at me. "Niall Horan, out of all of the prettier and millions of girls, wants to make sure I'm okay?" Electra questioned in disbelief.
I chuckled gently. "Believe me, you're the prettiest," I mumbled. She looked at me, confused.
"Oh. Well, do you want to come in?"
"Sure." She opened the door wider, allowing me in. I stepped inside, casually glancing around while taking off my shoes. She closed the door, and then leaded me upstairs.
We walked down a few halls, and into, I'm guessing; her bedroom.
She had a picture of me, Harry, Liam, Louis and Zayn on her wall, but that was it. I smiled.
"You a Directioner?" I asked, turning to her. She nodded.
"Yeah, and to be honest, I'm extremely nervous and excited right now at the same time. Niall Horan is in my bedroom." She said.
I sat on her bed. "You don't have to do that, you know."
"Call me Niall Horan. You can just call me Niall."
"Alright... I don't know if you know, but I'm Electra. Electra Andrews." She said, sticking her hand out. I shook it, and grinned.
"I know who you are. We've kinda been on the news all week." I stated, and she chuckled. I then noticed all of the tissues on her bed.
"Have you been crying?" I asked, fluffing one of the pillows.
"Um. Do you want the truth?" She questioned. I nodded and she sighed. "I don't mean to sound like a pussy or anything, but yeah. The sudden hate of pretty much everyone just really got to me."
"What are you talking about? More than half love you." I commented. She shrugged, crossing her arms.
"When I went to school on Monday, everyone was giving me dirty looks. And those girls in the video. People at school did the exact same thing. Even the people I thought were somewhat my friends." She explained.
I frowned. "I didn't mean for this to happen. I'm sorry." I said. She shook her head, sighing heavily.
"It-it's fine. We didn't ask for this." She said. We both went quiet and I observed her room. She had a huge room, but there was barely anything in it. A walk in closet, a full length mirror, some dressers, and a gigantic queen sized bed; which I was still sitting on.
I stood up, and put her pillow down that I didn't realize I was holding.
"I should be going now." I told her, walking over to the door.
"Alright..." She said quietly. I looked back at her and smiled.
"Hey. Stay strong, Electra."
Electra smiled a full smile that I haven't seen since the party on Saturday night. I smiled back, and walked out of her room door. I headed down the stairs, biting my lip.
I couldn't help it. I was disappointed to leave, but I knew she was still trying to get over how we were so 'close'.
I opened the front door to leave.
I stopped and turned around. Electra descended the stair case, and jumped down the last few steps. She almost fell out the door but I caught her in my arms.
I laughed gently as we both started blushing. "Whoa, careful now. What's up?" I helped her steady, and she looked at me.
"Do you wanna stay to watch a couple of movies? I have 3 hours alone until my brother gets home." She said.
"You have a brother?" I asked. She grinned and rolled her eyes, then grabbed my hand and pulled me into the living room. As we got comfortable, she never let go of my hand.
I didn't question any of it.
