Well, it's me again! Ugh, I cant believe that Clive just swooped in and ruined our adventure. Now, we are neither going shopping, nor exploring what is under the fridge. Ugh. Hate that guy. Why did Ma marry him again? God knows why...
Right... To get all the attention away from that "scandal"... Well, typing machine, to explain, I used to have a human dad... Buuut, he so called murdered someone in our old house... Yeah... Not exactly the perfect father in that way... Stupid people with their stupid claims against my dad. They should be the people that go to jail. Honestly typing machine, I really doubt that it was my dad that killed that guy... Uhm Spencer.. Spencer Garther... Yep. That was the dead guy's name... Ugh, mom is calling me down again. I just hope it isn't Clive or sandwich related because then I might just be: Like father like daughter...
Well, yours sincerely, Kindra Alexia
Ma looked nervously at me as I fuming walked down the stairs. "Let's take a walk..." Ma didn't need to say any more, and we headed towards the door. As Ma opened the door, I could hear Clive's satisfied grunts and smacks. I rolled my eyes as I walked over the threshold. "Where are we going?" I asked as Ma silently closed the door behind us. "Just a little walk down to the lake..." We walked in silence, until a clear blue lake came into sight. We settled on a bench as we both watched a shoal of fish swim calmly in the clear water. "I need to show you something..." I looked directly into Ma's eyes, and was about to ask her what it was, when our eyes locked and my vision blurred.
I was suddenly standing back in our old house, in the living room looking at my dad. "Dad?" I asked in disbelief, but he didn't seem to hear me. He was standing over a body, the dead body of Spencer Garther. Another person was standing across from him, gloves on, gun in hand. "Think fast..." A horse voice came from the man with the gun, but he quickly tossed the gun to my dad. My dad caught it as the man threw his gloves and jacket into the crackling fire in the fireplace. Dad pointed the gun at the man as the jacket and gloves slowly burned out of existence. "Help me someone, please, NO!" I could see that my dad realized he was being set up. "NO! Why are you doing this?" I could hear the front door to our house being kicked down, and my dad's eyes widened. "You won't get away with this..." My dad looked outraged at the man who was now kneeling with his hands behind his head. "You don't understand..." The man whispered. "I already have..." And then his face contorted into pure terror as the police strike force shouted "Hands in the air, drop your weapon!"
And then I was back on the bench. Ma's eyes were still locked with mine, but there were tears running down her cheeks. "Now you know the truth about your father..." Ma turned away. "What just happened?" I asked, still in complete shock. "I showed you what really happened." Ma just answered. "That's what I do..." I looked at Ma, horrified. "What are you?"
Ma didn't answer. She just smiled sadly at me.
