Chapter 14-- Fore I'm The Luckiest Man On Earth
We walk into our new house, I turn to Angel, she's got her long brown curls all wrapped up into a perfect messy bun. She sets down her last box and let's out a sigh.
She sits down on the floor, tired.
"Ugh..." She let's out.
"Wanna lay down in our bed?" I ask.
"No... I'm so sore all over I don't think I can move." She flops down on the floor.
I lay next to her.
"Now this isn't very comfortable." I whisper, "Is it?" She giggles.
"Better than standing." She responds.
I look at her cheek, it's almost healed but it'll have a nasty scar.
"How's your cheek?" I ask.
"It's fine. How's your back?"
To be honest, being on these hard floors made my back hurt like hell...
"It's fine." I mumble.
"Don't lie." She says laughing.
"Fine, it hurts a bit." I say.
She smiles, then she kisses me, my heart almost beats out of my chest.
We stop kissing and I look into her green eyes.
She blushes, "Is something wrong?" She asks.
"You're eyes, are just so... Perfect." I say.
"Yours are too." She says smiling.
"Wanna trade?" I ask.
She laughs and stands up.
I shoot up so I'm sitting up.
"You can stand?!" I ask pretending to be shocked.
She smiles, "Shut up!" She says laughing.
I stand up and she walks into the bedroom and kicks off her shoes and lays down.
"This bed is so uncomfortable." She mumbles.
"More comfortable than the floor." I say laying next to her.
"I'd rather the floor." She stands up.
"You're not really gonna lay on the floor are you?" I ask laughing.
"Um, yeah." She grabs a pillow.
She starts to walk away.
I grab her arm.
"No I wanna lay with you, come lay in here." I say.
"Aaron no." She saying giggling, soon we're both laughing.
"You're strong for a little girl." I say.
She laughs harder. I stand up. I let her go and she drops her pillows and runs off.
"Where you going?!" I yell across the house laughing.
I walk through the large house, then I peak around a corner where I get squirted with a squirt gun.
"Oh that's where this ends." I say.
She screams and laughs.
I run over to her and I pick her up.
"Aaron put me down." She says laughing and kicking.
"Nope, you're light, like a feather." I say.
"Oh how poetic." She says teasing.
"Yep, I'm just a poetic kinda guy." She leans up and kisses me.
"I love you Aaron." She whispers.
"I love you too... Do you want me to lay you on the floor now?" I ask.
"How about the bed?"
"Sounds good to me!"
I lay her down and I lay next to her.
We laugh and talk until she drifts off into sleep.
And I do the nightly routine because the first thing she unpacked was the cooking supplies.
Then I walk back into the bedroom and I turn off her bedside table light and I kiss her forehead.
This girl, Angel... Use to be some girl. Some girl with a blood covered arm and a shady past that she refused to speak of. She was just a girl with that had no idea how to skip rocks and for some reason wanted to run away... But now... She's more then that. She's not the girl with the bloody arm and beautiful hair, she's not the girl with an awful past... She's an angel...
To match her name...
She's my angel. She's my everything.
I lay next to her, and I slowly drift into sleep...
My last words that left my mouth before I fell asleep was, "I regret nothing."
Because I don't.
Then I'm asleep... Next to the most beautiful girl on earth... Fore I'm the luckiest man on earth.
