I soon as I got to the beach I saw Addie's figure standing there by the water, I slowly walked over to her thing of what to say.
"Hey" I said as I came up beside her, causing her to jump.
"Jeez, you scared me!" She exclaimed hitting me lightly.
"You wanted to meet??" I asked awkwardly.
"Yeah, lots of people told me what happened last night" she said looking out at the water.
"Yeah, I just really thought it was my fault, my actions led you to go missing I guess" I said quietly.
"I accidentally got lost, I went to a spot needing sometime to cool down and my phone died and it was really dark" she said remembering the events of last night.
"I'm really sorry about yesterday, I feel so shitty and I never meant a word I said" I explained quickly.
"You did make me cry" she said quietly.
"I didn't mean to, I never do but somehow I always do" I said sadly.
"It's okay, I understand" she said hugging me tightly. "You smell like cigs" she said with a look of disgust.
"Yeah I smoked a pack last night" I trailed off rubbing the back of my neck.
"That's so bad for you!" She exclaimed hitting me repeatedly.
"Omg I know!" I yelled trying to get her to stop hitting me.
"You need to stop" she scolded me with her hands on her hips.
"I don't even smoke that much, I was just stressed out" I shrugged slightly.
"You smoked that much cuz u felt that bad!?!?" She asked bewildered.
"Of course, I beat myself up the whole night" I told her seriously.
"I didn't mean to make you worry so much" she said fiddling with her hands.
"It's okay" I said with a small smile.
"You are the best!" She exclaimed jumping into my arms, surprising me.
"Well thank you" I said cockily.
We just sat there on the beach talking and watching the waves and the sun set, this was nice I wish I could tell her how I feel but I'm scared for her reaction to how strong they are.
"Let's get back" I said as the sky was starting to get darker.
"Yeah don't want to be stuck out here" she joked lightly.
