9. Running, crushing, brothers
The next day after school, I was running late to meet Michael. I was jogging through the almost empty hallways, my books and binders in my arms.
I came running around a corner and collided with something. At first I was stunned, but i rubbed my head and looked around me. My books were scattered along the tile floor. In front of me were a pair of tims. I felt myself instinctively look up at the person that I had run into. He was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeved grey shirt. What really got me was when I saw his face.
"Blake?" I asked, shocked.
"Hey Amy." He laughed. Blake knelt down and started gathering my books together, when he was done he passed them to me.
"Thanks." I mumbled with a smile, still sitting on the hallway floor. He reached out his hand and once again I took it. When he pulled me up we were only inches apart. A tingling sensation started in my fingers of the hand he was holding, and quickly spread up my arm like fire. I dropped his hand quickly, shocked at the pleasant sensation. "Sorry." I gasped when I saw the hurt look on his face.
This can't be happening. I thought to myself. First Michael, now Blake, and to make it all worse, they're brothers!
I'd never even really had one boy interested in me, let alone two, and at the same time! I could feel my feelings developing for both boys, which only confused me more.
How could I like two boys this much at the same time?
