"Here's your room Sakura-chan, Yamato-san and...others." Temari said trailing off. "Anyways, if you need anything just ask." she continued with a smile, placing a comforting hand on Sakura's shoulder.
Giving no idication that she heard, she shrugged off Temari's hand and walked into the room leaving the door open for the rest of her team to enter. Sighing Temari left.
"So, Sakura-chan, why did everyone refer you as Sama?" Naruto asked sitting on a bed.
Sakura stopped what she was doing and just blinked emotionlessly at Naruto. "Hn." She went back into packing.
"Sakura-chan. Please stop ignoring us! Me! We're your friends! We care about you!" Naruto shouted at Sakura. Yamato blocked Naruto's view of Sakura as he barely caught the anger and hurt flash through her eyes.
"Stop it Naruto." He said sternly, just as he was about to continue a hand was placed gently on his arm. He turned around to see a small smile that was uncommonly spread on her lips.
"Yamato-san. Thank you." For all you've done.
To say he was shocked was an understatement. He was flabbergasted. As far as he knew, Sakura never really thanked anyone anymore. He nodded.
"Uzumaki, Uchiha, Hatake, Sai. I am not ignoring anyone. I am merely acting as a captain and keeping to the rules of the shinobi. And as a friend you say... Caring..." Sakura trailed off tilting her head to the right as an act of confusion, a smirk slowly made way to her mouth, "Its funny when it comes out of your mouth. Those fake words, the fake lies because surely you never really act upon them."
"How can you just say that! We do care about you!" Naruto shouted back.
All Sakura did was laughed. Not a happy, full of joy laugh but one full of hurt, anger and mocking. "Of course I can say that. I've got a mouth don't I? Like every other shinobi, I deserve a right to be taught properly by my sensei, a right to be able to grow and develop my powers and not always being protected like a helpless child." As she finished, she stared hard at Naruto. Seeing as he was shaken from the information, she turned her emerald eyes to Kakashi.
Kakashi has dropped his orange book, not caring that now the edge of the book is creased. Mouth agape and eyes widened. Bowing his head in shame, hair casting a shadow over half his face he murmured dejectedley, "I'm sorry Sakura. I should have been a better sensei to you. Hell, I haven't been a sensei to you at all have I? Giving Naruto and Sasuke all the attention, all the advices while you were in the shadows, crying out to me to help you. I ignored you. I said hurtful things that I didn't mean to you while all you wanted was my acknowledge." Lifting his head, he looked at Sakura sorrow shone in his lone eye, "I should have watered the flower that was in pushed back into the shadows instead of taking care of the ones in the sunshine."
