'How is she?' Ron immediately asked as soon as I came out of the tent. I jumped onto the sofa next to harry.
'She seems fine,' I said, smirking at how concerned and protective ron was of her. something was definitely going on here! 'She's just a little shaken, that's all.'
'He seemed relieved. Harry snorted and Ron shot him an icy glare.
'What's going on between you two?' Harry asked wiggling his eyebrows at ron. Ron's ears went red for a second before he said, 'Nothing!' and chucked a cushion at harry and I.
'Really?' said harry raising his eyebrows at him and catching the cushion with one hand. I know I wasn't supposed to, as he had a girlfriend now, but I couldn't help but admire how quick harry was. He always affected me in quidditch practise whenever he caught the snitch, and I couldn't help but fan girl over him a little bit.
'Yes! Why can't you just leave me alone. Back off for a bit alright?' ron whined childishly.
'Oooh, touchy!' I laughed mockingly, and harry laughed too. I tried my best to hide my blush, as I was trying to convince everyone that I didn't have a crush on Harry anymore, although inside I still knew that I actually did like him.
Ron huffed and waved a hand at us, trying to block us out as he looked out of the window and went back into his own sad little world.
When would he realise that he was head over heels in love with Hermione?
And wen would Harry realise that he was head over heels in love with me?
'Hey ginny,' harry said softly but seriously, all traces of joking gone from his tone of voice.
'Yeah?!' I said enthusiastically whipping my head around so fast it hurt, so that I was face to face with him and pretty close. So close that if I wanted to I could just lean in and ...
Stop it Ginny. He has a girlfriend. Don't be stupid.
He leaned back a bit, obviously surprised at how close we had become in those few seconds. I tried not to feel too sad.
'So, you know there's this Valentines Day Dance thing coming up?'
'Yeah?' I said, suddenly clinging on to every word he said. I had completely forgotten about the dance.
Hang on. He wasn't going to invite me was he?
'Well, you know we have to go with people-'
'But aren't you going with Cho?' I yelled at him abruptly. he looked so surprised at my outburst that I almost laughed, but I was too embarrassed.
'Erm, well... yes. I definitely wanted to go with her, but she is going to one of her friends houses for Valentines day and now 'I'm stuck on who to ask. So I was just wondering if you had asked anyone because then we could... you know... go together, as friends.'
My heart leapt. Yes! the moment had finally come where he has realised that he is in love with me! Me me me!!! not silly old cho.
'Yes of course I will go with you!' I said, smiling brightly.
'Erm, just as friends, right?' he said with his eyebrows raised.
'Oh yes, of course!'
'Great, now I don't have to stress about it anymore.' He looked relieved.
'Me too,' I said.
There was a short and awkward pause.
'Right, I think I will go to bed now then,' he said a little awkwardly.
'Okay, see you tomorrow!'
As he walked away from me I couldn't help but notice the fireworks exploding inside me. I couldn't contain my happiness! I was going to the valentines day dance with Harry Potter!!!!
Don't kill me!!!
I know it's been a long time and it was a very short chapter, but I am writing the next one right now and it's looking good so far! Did you like Ginny's point of view? Shall I do more Hinny? Let me know if you want more of that.
Thank you so much for reading x :)
