34. Chapter 34
Kissing Alex was better than I could have ever imagined. I slid my hands down her legs and picked her up, pressing her back against the bathroom wall. She tangled her fingers in my hair and pressed against me; kissing me deeply and passionately.
Suddenly, she jerked away from me. I leaned in again but she put her feet back on the ground and held me back with her hand on my chest.
I laid my hand over her's and reached my other to caress her face. She pulled away from me and walked out of the bathroom, the guilt plain on her face.
Why was Alex taking so long? It shouldn't take so long so help someone with a shower. Suddenly, she came bounding down the stairs.
She grabbed her car keys from the counter and ran for the door.
"Alex! What's wrong?" I asked her, alarmed.
"Nothing, I just-I just have something I need to do." She yelled running through the door. I still sat in alarm. Why would she leave like that? What just happened? Bill came down the stairs a few moments later, in Andy's clothes, and looked at me.
"Did she leave?" He asked.
I felt so horrible. I was leading Bill on and I just f***ing cheated on Andy! I sat in my car, driving down the highway. I remembered CC's face when I ran out the door. He was confused and surprised. He had no idea what was going on. Screw it, I had no idea what was going on....
I pulled into a children's park parking lot. I sighed and slammed my head against the steering wheel. Then I opened the car door and walked over to the swing set. I sat silently on one of the swings, glad that no one else was out today. I swung my legs back and forth, allowing myself to go higher and higher. When I was as high as I could go, I leaned back and stared at the bright blue sky.
