33. Chapter 33
CC and Bill sat downstairs while I cleaned up in the bathroom. I walked downstairs in an over sized T-shirt and black skinny jeans. I was still drying my hair with a towel.
Bill and CC glanced up at me.
"Hey, Bill. You can go upstairs and get cleaned up. I laid out some of Andy's clothes and I'll just put your's in the wash." I said, sitting down.
"Okay, thanks." He walked up the stairs, leaving me and CC alone.
"So you guys are back early?" I asked him.
"Nah, just me."
"How is Black Veil Brides supposed to perform without the drummer?" I asked.
"It's basically only interviews right now. I wanted a break." He picked up the remote and flipped on the TV.
"There's nothing on."
"Alex, you're only interested in either gorey movies or freaky children shows." He looked at me.
"So have you been hanging out with Bill a lot?" He asked me casually, staring at the TV.
I nodded. "Yeah, he's awesome."
"Well, Andy's jealous." He said.
I stared at him. "You serious? Why?"
He shrugged. "Ask him."
"How do you know?"
"He keeps bringing you and Bill up. Wanting to check on you and he wanted to come back early, but considering most people want to see the lead singer; he couldn't."
"Why would ANDY BIERSACK be jealous?" I said, in shock.
He laughed and shrugged again. "I guess he feels intimidated."
CC looked at the ceiling. "Do you think Bill figured out how to work shower yet? I hate taking showers at other people's houses. It's too hard to figure out how to work it." He said.
"I'll go see if he needs help." I jogged up the steps and into my room.
I knocked on the bathroom door. "Did you figure out how to work the shower?"
"Uh, actually...no." I heard. I laughed and said, "Well open the door and I'll show you."
After a moment the door unlocked and opened. I walked in to see Bill with a towel around his waist; his star tattoo peeking out. His dark hair brushed his shoulders and his hand gripped the point of the towel that was holding it to his body. I coughed, my throat suddenly dry. I tore my eyes away from him and leaned over the edge of the tub, turning the knob for the water.
"Left for hot. Right for cold. In the middle to turn it off. Okay?" I turned the knob in example. He nodded.
I adjusted the water so that it was at a warm temperature and felt it. Then, I stood awkwardly.
"Thanks," He told me, "Taking showers at other people's houses is way too confusing." I nodded in agreement.
I rubbed my arm awkwardly. "Well, I'll let you do your thing then."
I walked out of the bathroom and shut it behind me. I almost groaned aloud. Then I heard his voice again. "Uh Alex?"
"I forgot to bring the clothes in and I'm kind of already in the shower...so...could you?"
"Yeah, sure." I said, my voice shaky. I grabbed Andy's clothes from the bed and walked back into the bathroom. I laid them on the counter and started to back out; not daring to look at the shower.
"Thanks." I heard, then made the mistake of turning around. Bill had the shower curtain so that his waist down was covered, but he was leaning out slightly to look at me. His chest glistened from the water and his hair was already soaked; the pointed tips causing water to trail down his body. A small groan/whimper escaped my lips and I pursed them tightly.
"What's the matter?" He asked me.
I shook my head. "Nothing."
His eyes narrowed. "Does this make you nervous?"
"No." I lied, my cheeks pinkening.
"Liar. You're turned on." He said, smiling proudly of himself.
"No. I'm not."
"Yes. You are." He stood straight and let the curtain fall. He crossed his arms over his chest and stood (fully exposed) smirking at me.
My eyes widened and I threw my hand over my eyes. "You're way too confident."
"Bill, seriously. Cover up your area."
"Only if you admit that you're turned on."
"You're a bad liar."
I covered my eyes with my left hand and reached for the door, blindly, with my right. Then I felt arms around me. Bill's hand pulled mine away from my face. I stood staring at him with wide eyes; telling myself silently not to look down. He stared at me, his hair dripping water on his arms and onto my hands.
"Bill stop." I said, my voice coming out as a whisper.
"You have feelings for me, don't you?" It was almost a statement.
"I love Andy." I said.
"You didn't answer my question." He said, glancing at my lips.
"CC's downstairs." I said, avoiding his question again.
He brushed his thumb across my lips. My heart started pumping harder. I hoped he couldn't feel my breath coming out faster.
"Do you have feelings for me?" He asked again.
I bit my lip. "I don't know." I finally admitted. I could almost feel the happiness radiating from Bill. He tried to hide the smile on his face, but failed miserably. We stood silently like that for a few moments. I stared into his face and he stared back.
Then, he slowly started to lean into me. I stood in shock as he pressed his lips against mine. When I didn't push him away, he kissed harder. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled my body against his naked one. My hands were pushed against his bare chest; I pulled them away and wrapped them around his neck. I kissed back.
