14. Court justice
I woke up the next morning. I realized that I'm in prison. Damn, why do I have to be 18? Tabby was lucky. She's only 16. I groaned and a security guy was waiting for me. We headed for the police department. He signed some papers and we went out to court. When I got there, Harry, Niall, Liam and Zayn were all there. I was relieved. "How?" I mouthed at Harry. He either didn't understand or chose to ignore me. "Order to court!" The judge screamed. I sat down, and a lawyer was there. "I'll help you." He said. I nodded, not answering. I looked back and the 4 weren't looking at me back. I guess I must have lost their trust in them. I thought Niall would forgive me immediately but he didn't. "Louis..." "Tomlinson." I grunted. "Okay, tell me your side of the story." I told them what happened, not including Rebekah and Mackenzie. "All right then." The judge turned to the girls who looked very innocent. It was Rebekah and Mackenzie. Rebekah glares at me. "Ma'am, would you like to tell your side of the story?" The judge raised his eyebrows. "Okay. We were just driving along and our car seemed out of control. We crashed into an abandoned building because we couldn't stop on time. We left the scene, afraid that some gangsters would attack us." "We completely forgot about Louis and accidentally leaving him in the crashed car. We also thought that he was okay when we realized too late." Mackenzie finished the "story". Mackenzie smirked at me. "Okay then, jury?" The jury members were whispering among themselves. The 4 said nothing. "Don't you have the evidence?" A lady with grayish-black hair asked. "Unfortunately, we don't." The police officer said. They continued to whisper. "We have made the final decision. They're both innocent." "All right then. Louis, you just have to sign some papers and you'll be free. Mackenzie and Rebekah, thank you for taking your time off to come here." I really didn't need the lawyer. I just got lucky. "Just sign here and here. The "criminal" record will not be on your permanent record." I sighed with relief. I had to go back to prison to change back into my clothes. After I did, I met the 4. "Wow Louis, went through all that trouble." Zayn grunted. "I'm sorry guys." I said. "Don't need to be. I have somewhere to be, so I'm going." A bus came, and he hopped on. That was the last bus (for the day) to get to New York. "I have to meet my girlfriend." Zayn said. "I have nowhere to be." Harry said. Everyone was solemn today. All because of me.
