Madison was worried, after saying her case and with Norm backing her up, she thought that there was no way she would be found guilty, but she did try to attack Light's Golden Boy, Something which would've annoyed anybody in the City, so, she worried, to a certain extent, but not enough to feed the Darkness within her.
Another hour passed before the Council reconvened, Madison then came face to face, with Hope, Destiny and Destruction. For as the Head of the Council, announced her sentence, she felt all three rushing through her;
"Madison Katrina Lumen
You have been charged with trying to contaminate your own brother and Light's sole means of producing a cure; Norman Victor Lumen
We, the Council, Leaders of this Fair City
Find you Guilty and Sentence you to
Exile in the Darklands.
May you never return."
It was then that the Council left the courtroom, followed by everyone else, until Madison was the only one left, she was being led to the Boundary, The only place where the Barrier protecting the City was able to be turned off, it was there she was given the three things she had put down on her Inter-city ID card, Her Journal, Her Boots and Her Locket. Each of these she put on her person, then the Boundary was deactivated and she left Light, without looking back, she knew this was going to happen, it could've been when she was older, but she was glad it was now, because the basic survival training she had been given was still fresh in her mind.
Madison was going to survive, one way or another, if only she didn't have the Darkness both inside and outside to deal with.
