I can't do this. I stare out the window with tears in my eyes. I know Liam has seen me cry before, but I hate showing people my weakness. We just fixed everything and now he has to leave on tour. Life sure is a bitch. I was currently in the van on the way to the airport to say good bye to Liam and the boys. I turned around to see Zoe and Niall happily chatting in the back. I think they are perfect for each other, it's only a matter of time before they get together. I guess him and Skylar didn't work out. I haven't gotten the chance to talk to her since the accident. Wait, I remember! Memories are going through my head and I feel really overwhelmed, but it's amazing. I don't know how this happened. Maybe it's been going on for a while and I haven't realized it. I start laughing, remembering when we stayed at the boys house and played manhunt inside. I turn to see Liam staring at me confused.
"Whats so funny, babe?" He asks, raising his eyebrow at me. In return I place a huge kiss on his lips. Before it got too far I pulled away and placed my forehead on Liam's.
"I remember," I whisper, but Liam still looks confused. Is this boy oblivious?
"Remember what?" He asks.
"Everything. From the day we met, our first date, hanging out, and the accident," I say excitedly, although frowning at the last one. His face immediately changes into a huge smile.
"That's amazing, Kristen! Oh my god! This is incredible!" He yells, pulling me in for another kiss. We were cut off by a cough. I turn to see Erin and Harry glaring at us.
"Whats so incredible?" Erin asks sarcastically, obviously not believing it's important.
"I remember everything!" I yell, smiling like a maniac. She squeals and hugs me. Everyone was in a better mood. That was, until we got to the airport. There were screaming fans everywhere. The camera flashes of the paparazzi were too bright. When we got out, I hid my face in Liam's shirt to block the brightness. Girls were screaming things at us, good and bad. Security held them back but I was starting to freak out. I'm not used to so many people crowding me and it being so loud. When we got into the airport, I looked up at Liam and realized I was digging my fingers into his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry Liam! I didn't realize I was doing that, everything was overwhelming me and I was freaking out," I quickly say.
"It's ok, love. It's a lot to take in at once," he says, pulling me into him. I laid my head against his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist. I could see a few girls that must have gotten past security. They were either video taping or taking pictures but they kept their distance. I looked up at Liam and felt a tear roll down my cheek. Liam gently wiped it off with his thumb and kissed my nose lightly, making me giggle.
"I guess we should say goodbye to everyone now," I say and he nods. I walk up to Harry and he pulls me into a hug.
"I'm gonna miss you, Kristen. I can't wait until we get back. I'm thinking we go golfing?" He asks.
"Do you want to risk your life? Do you remember what happened with Liam and me?" I ask, laughing now.
"Yeah, maybe not. But I really am gonna miss you, Krissy," he says and I roll my eyes.
"I'll miss you too Curly. Don't forget about me and text me! I get bored easily," I say and he smiles before letting me go.
"Of course I'll text you! Bye Krissy."
Next is Zayn. I hug him and mess up his hair slightly, smirking.
"Hey, watch the hair!" He yells, fixing it.
"Sorry, had to do it once. I'll miss you Zaynie." I say, giggling. I'm just full if nicknames today.
"I'll miss you too Krissy."
I then walk up to Niall.
"Who am I going to pig out with now?" I ask, pouting.
"I know! You're the only girl I know who can eat as much as me! I'll miss you, Kris," he says, hugging me.
"I'll miss you too, Nialler. See you soon!"
"Forgetting someone?" Someone says and I turn to see Louis.
"Of course not Lou. How could I forget you? Hey that rhymed!" I yell.
"Clever one, aye. I'm really going to miss you Kris. You are to call me every day, you got that?"
Yes, sir. And I'm going to miss you too. You've made my life so much more interesting and I want to thank you for sticking up with my weirdness. Just wait until you get back! It'll be like I never left!" I say as he pulls me into a huge hug.
"I'm always her for you, babe. If you ever need anything, I'm a phone call away. Please be careful, ok?" He whispers and I nod.
"Bye Lou. I'll miss you a lot."
"I'll miss you too Krissy. Bye!" He yells the last bit in my ear. Typical Louis. Finally, I turn to Liam. He has his arms outstretched for me and I run into them. He lifts me up and spins me around.
"What am I going to do without you here?" I whisper into his chest. He hugs me tighter and kisses my hair.
"I think you'll survive. You have to promise me something first though," he says, pulling back a little.
"Don't hurt yourself, ok? I know how stressed you get sometimes but I need you to stay strong. I know it's going to be a long time, but I will try my hardest to visit whenever I can. I'll Skype and text you whenever I get the chance, ok?" He he's and I nod. All too soon, the announcer is calling their flight and I have to say goodbye. Liam pulls me in for a long kiss before the other boys pull him away. I stand there waving sadly and he turns back once more before boarding the plane. I can feel tears sliding down my face as I head outside to the car. This will be a great story for the paps tomorrow. I can picture it now, "Girlfriend of Liam Payne Crying as She Leaves the Airport. What Went Wrong?"
2 weeks later
Why isn't he responding? He told me yesterday that he'd be home by 3:00 so I Skyped and texted him at 4:00 to give him some extra time but he's not answering. I decide on Skyping Louis instead. He almost immediately picks up. That's odd.
L: Hey Krissy!
K: Hey Lou! How was your interview?
L: It was good. How has your day been? And not trying to be rude, but why'd you call me?
K: Pretty good and I called you because Liam isn't answering my texts or Skype.
L: That's weird. After the interview, he told us he was going somewhere but I don't know where.
K: Oh, I guess he forgot about Skyping. I'll just try later.
I was about to hang up when I saw the hotel room door fly open and in came a laughing Liam. I was about to call out his name when I saw someone else run in, holding his hand. And not just anyone, but a girl and she was leaning against Liam trying to catch her breath. Louis gestures for me to be quiet and closes his laptop but turns the camera so I can see. He then turns to Liam, who is still laughing.
"Hey Liam. Where were you?" Louis asks cautiously.
"Oh, hey Louis. We were shopping for an outfit for Sophia to go to the concert in tonight. We wound up getting mobbed and chased by fans all the way to the hotel," he says, out of breath. So that's her name.
"Why weren't you answering your texts?" Louis asks and I can tell he's starting to get pissed.
"What? I don't have any mes..." He stops when he takes out his phone and sees the messages. "Shit."
"Yeah, you have a slight problem don't you?" Louis says, smirking at Liam who's face is pale.
"What should I tell Kristen? That our interview ran late? She's not going to be happy," he says and my heart breaks a little. He wants to lie to me?
"I don't know if that's the best option man. Look for yourself," I can see him turn back to his laptop and lift the top so he can see me.
"Hey babe," he says smiling at me. He's oblivious to the fact that I just heard his whole conversation.
"Cut the bullshit, Liam. You were seriously going to lie to me? What happened to trust? And who the hell is this?!" I surprise even myself with the sudden outburst. Guilt takes over his face.
"Yo-you heard that?" He stutters.
"Damn right I heard it. Care to explain?" I ask gesturing to him and Sophia, who is still hanging on him. He notices and pulls away.
"Uh, this is my friend Sophia," he says, quietly.
"Looks like more than that. I think I should go. I don't want to interrupt anything," I say, trying to keep the tears from falling.
"No! Kristen wait. Can't we talk?" He ask, urgently.
"I thought ou wouldn't forget but I was wrong. Goodbye Liam. I don't want to talk to you ever again. Text me whenever you can Lou," I say before hanging up. Now I let the tears fall freely. I hear my phone go off over ad over, but don't answer it. I can't believe I was so stupid to think he actually would stick with me.
