I slid my last binder into my backpack and checked once again down the hallway to see if Aidan and Ethan were coming. And they weren't.
I turned back to my stuff. I pulled the flap over the top of my bag and clicked it into place. So much for friends, right?
"Boo!" Two voices echoed each other causing me to jump and turn to see if it was a murderer. Though I guess a murderer wouldn't appear in the middle of a crowded hallway... Or say boo...
I turned to see the twins staring at me with smiles on their faces. That made me smile.
"God, you guys. You scared the crap out of me!I though you were a murderer or something!"
"Since when do murderers say boo?" Ethan asked.
"Shut up! I don't know..." I pulled my bag out of my locker, and closed and locked my locker.
"Apparently they do now though, so don't worry." Aidan teased and I shoved him.
When we got outside, they hopped on their bikes and I got in my car and once again tossed my bag onto the passenger seat, as it was unoccupied.
They followed me out of the parking lot than we split ways. Them going right, me going left. And I was alone again.
I rolled down the back windows to let some air into the car and sang along with the radio. I turned onto the street before mine and slammed onto the breaks. "Crap!" I pushed my hand down on the horn and stared at the boy who I almost hit. Sandy-blonde hair, light blue eyes. Quite the cutie...
"Watch where you're going!" I screamed.
"Sorry!" He called back.
I put my car in park and opened the door and climbed out. I looked at him and sighed. "I swear to god you weren't there when I checked before turning."
"I'm pretty sure I was."
"I don't think I was hallucinating."
"Okay, sorry, calm down. I don't know..." He looked down at his feet then back up at me. "Look, I'll just go and move out of your way now..."
"Thank you." I turned headed back towards my car.
"Hey," he called and I turned back to face him. "Would it be weird if I asked for your number?"
"A little. So you're lucky you're cute..." I smiled and he walked over to me.
