I couldn't stop thinking about my dream this morning. It didn't help that Louis invited me out with the boys today. All five will be there. I don't understand why it's such a big deal now. I've gone two years without any awkwardness, or Louis finding out. I forgot everything, now it's back in my mind like it just happened yesterday. The knocks at my door interrupted my thoughts. The knocks were very frequent, it was annoying, so it had to be Niall. I took the last sip of my orange juice, set my up in the sink, and headed to the door. Before I opened it, I looked at the bouquet of blue azaleas. I smiled, realizing I never let go. I took the azaleas out of the vase and opened the door.
"Hello there gorgeous." Niall stood leaning against the door post. I rolled my eyes. "Are those for me?" He reached for them. I pulled back.
"Hold up. I have to give one to everyone or it wouldn't be fair." I tapped the edged of his nose.
"Does Harry really deserve one of those beautiful flowers? Or Liam?" He was saying more, but I couldn't concentrate on the words. It's like his name triggered a bomb in me. I went completely blank. I was finally coming to again, I shook my head a little.
"Are you ok?" Niall looked at me strange, but his tone was worried. "You turned pale, and wouldn't answer me." Now his expression matched his voice.
"I don't know what happened." I looked around and noticed everyone waiting. "I'm sure it won't happen again though. Let's go." I grabbed Niall's hand and we took off.
"I don't think so." Niall let go of my hand and took off in a sprint to the van. The door was left open, so I thought if they want to get out they will. When I got to the van, they all jumped out. Harry first, then Liam, then Louis, and finally Zayn.
"Hey there beautiful." Louis hugged me, then planted a kiss on my lips.
"Louis, if you get to her first, none of is get to see her." Harry said, acting like a child, stomping his foot. I shook my head slightly, Zayn saw it though. He smiled along with me. I let go of Louis, and hugged Zayn first.
"How are you?" I asked as we pulled away from each other.
"I'm good. Just glad to see you three are working things out." He winked at me. I playfully shoved him, then moved on to my next subject. Harry was so much taller than me, he had the cutest dimples, the most beautiful green eyes, they went perfect with his all over the place brown hair, and his fashion taste..... well..... he's the best dressed male around. He scooped me up into a hug, almost crushing me.
"I missed you. Maybe not as much as Louis had though." We both looked over at Louis. I was just about to smile, when Harry had to open his mouth again. "Or Liam." He quickly put his hands over his mouth. I turned back to look at him.
"You aren't getting one of these." I pointed them in his face. Then marched off, to come up to Niall. "Haven't we already met today?" I looked at him.
"I don't think so." He looked at me with his eyes squinted. "What makes you think that?"
"Ok, but I'm pretty sure I've heard that Irish accent already today, and I only know one Irish person." I gave him that curious up and down look.
"Just shut up and give me my hug." Niall put his arms out.
"I don't think I will." When I said that, his face sunk. "Not until you ask nicely."
"Will you PLEASE give me a hug?" He made a puppy dog face after he asked.
"How could I say no to that." I gave Niall his hug. "And you get the first flower. It's for being the best hugger, but don't tell the other boys." I handed him the flower, and put my finger to my lips. As I walked away he stuck the flower in his fluffy blonde hair. I know Liam is next, but I don't want to talk to him right now. I looked around, and for a moment I thought my wish was going to come true. He was picking me up from behind.
"Oh my gosh! You scared the hell out of me." I slapped him when he set me down. He was smiling, and laughing.
"I thought it was funny." He looked right into my eyes, so I didn't answer. "Whatcha got there?" He pointed to the flowers in my other hand.
"A flower. One for you, one for all the boys. The rest I'm going to leave where ever." I pulled them up close so he could see them. Then I handed him one.
"I-I see." He twirled the flower in between his finger and thumb. "Why don't you keep them?" He looked up at me.
"I'm letting go." I confessed to him. "You should too." I put my hand on his shoulder "It was just a dream."
"A dream come true." He said, looking up from the flower again, with a sad look.
