I was so nervous. I had never gotten this nervous about anything. I glanced over the counter to see him sitting there. He was perfect. His cheekbones, his jawline, his eyes.... His eyes were to die for. I started to daydream about this man. I rested my chin on my hand, balanced by my elbow and stared.
"OUCH" I yelled. My arm slipped on the counter and hit the wall quite loudly. Louis immediately ran over to see if I was okay.
"What happened?" His gentle voice spoke.
"I hit my elbow, but I'm fine" I said and nodded with reassurance.
I remember now that he had basically asked me on a date. My nerves started to go back. There butterflies in my stomach. I felt like I was going to be sick.
"Are you ready to go?" He said eager to leave.
"S-su-"The word stumbled out of my mouth, but then stopped. Luke. I had forgotten about him completely. How could someone make me feel this way, when only spoke to him once before.
My was rushing with a thousand words. Should I stay!??? What if Luke finds out he will be devastated. I can already see his reaction, the feeling of what did I do wrong in his eyes. Luke was the type of boyfriend to get super defensive over me. He would hurt Louis if he found out.
"What's wrong?" He said I could hear the worry on his voice.
"I-I have a b- boyfriend." I can hear my own voice trembling.
"Oh ... Well let's not make this a date then. Let's just hang out as friends. There's nothing wrong with that- is there?" His words were comforting to my weakness.
"Shall we go, madam?" His voice sounding like a price. Who wanted to take me far away from this trouble of a life I was living.
"We shall!" I added a bit more confidence to my voice.
