I walked through the grocery store and picked absently down goods in the basket. My fridge was empty after the weekend with Harry and Louis. I pondered also on what had happened and realized that they really had tested me. What I was afraid of was still Liam. I just felt the whole body shook by the very thought of him.
"How are you?"
I was startled and turned around. I got direct view of a pair of blue eyes, a hat and a big smile.
"Niall?" I was silly of me. He laughed a little bit and seemed to call me.
"Yes, I usually buy food here." he got out himself and met my gaze. "You look like you feel good?"
I nodded a little bit and realized it was the first time that a customer saw me privately. It felt wrong to talk to him, but yet I couldn't pull myself away.
"I'm fine!" I got out of me and saw that he didn't held in a basket. He had nothing that told me that he really was bought food. Instead, he seemed to not want to leave me and he stood near me.
"So are you free?"
I swallowed and didn't know if I would be lying or being honest.
"You have no basket with food in?" I got out of me. Niall blushed slightly and looked down at the floor.
"The truth is that I saw you go into the grocery store and I followed. I apologize, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about you."
Okay? I tried to think professionally and felt compelled to put my job before me.
"Call Alva and book me?"
Niall didn't seem to like that comment and he looked at me with irritated eyes.
"Kath, I didn't missed you in that way. I miss you because I have feelings for you and I think you're wonderful."
I didn't want to listen more. He knew what I did and he knew I wasn't exactly clean.
"Niall, I'm just a dream. You don't know me and I can't even stand here and talk to you. You are a customer."
He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked at me long before he came up with a wry smile.
"I can get to know you and be friends with you?"
I chose to direct shake my head.
"Go out and stop having feelings for me. There's nothing like we and I will never want to be your friend."
I hurt him and I saw that he almost collapsed.
"But you can't tell me that it was only about sex?"
"Niall, you paid to get the perfect person to take with you. It was you who decided what happened, not me. Do you think I enjoy being with the customers and obey? I shut out my feelings and it's only a job."
As I walked toward my apartment, I noticed that Niall followed. I almost had a panic and thought about what I had to choice between. I didn't want him to know where I lived and I didn't want to have a stalker after me.
In the end, I slid into a small shop and ran out the back door. I took a longer way and managed to get home without Niall after me. It was as if I was in a movie and I had a bad boy after me. Still, I wasn't sure when I closed the door and locked it. I went to the window and peered out into the street. Niall wasn't there, but the question was whether he would find out my address?
Right as it was called my mobile and I jumped. Alva sounded like she had a bad day and she didn't seem in the mood.
"Wednesday night! I don't know what the customer is called but you should dress nicely and get to the main hotel at eight o'clock in the evening."
I left the window and pulled in bags in the kitchen.
Alva cleared her throat a bit.
"He paid extra so I guess it will be all night."
On my website Niall had not given any sign that he had been there and I went through everything, so I knew for sure that he couldn't know where I was. I saw the portion guys had left comments on some images, but as always, I read none of them. I already knew what it said and I knew I was just a fantasy for them.
When Wednesday came, I made sure I that, as always, looked good. I put on nicer clothes, clean underwear and put condoms in my bag. It was as if my work was on routine and I did the same thing over and over again. The difference was that sometimes it didn't went as planned.
