He seemed not a type of person she would be around. He looks like he has a secret. A dark one. And I don't like it one bit. She should get better than him. I can tell they both like eachother but I don't want her to get hurt. My heart was almost burnt when I saw her cry that night cause of him....well whenever she cries actually.
She left with him a while ago. Now I'm lonely. Maybe I'll go over tonight and invite her to dinner at my house.
"So Liam....where is the mystery section?" A girl came up to me. The same girl who was flirting with me for about an hour now.
"Um. Over there to the right of that shelf." I politley responded.
"Well where's the hot librarian section?"
"What?" I just realized what she said.
"I said where's the hot librarian section?" I didn't respond. I just kept checking books back in.
"You want to go somewhere else?"
"No thank you. I'm busy.....all night." I lied.
"Really? Well why don't we swap numbers?" She suggested.
"I'm sorry. I'm not looking for a relationship right now."
"Well fine....." She walked away after scoffing at me.
The rest of my shift wasn't pleasant. I only had 2 hours left but they were long and boring.
"Alright Liam. You can go." My boss Mr.Haness spoke.
"Thanks." I grabbed my jacket and left the library. Let me call Bri and ask her to dinner. I reached for my phone and unlocked the front screen.
I pressed 5 on my keypad. It dialed her number. I love speed dial.
"Hey Bri. Do you wanna come to dinner with me tonight?"
"I'm sorry Liam. I can't. I'm with Harry right now. He just wants to hangout with me." She added the last part a couple seconds later. It still didn't make me comfortable with her and Harry together. Its not that I don't want her to have somoene just not him.
"Oh. Ok. Then tomorrow?"
"Ok. Got to go Liam. Bye!"
"Bye." I hung up.
"Be careful Brisa..."
"Who was that?" Harry asked me. We just came from eating dinner and ice cream. We were at Harry's house and I was on the couch. He came out of the kitchen.
"Liam." I replied.
"Ya..." It was an awkward silence for a bit. Then Harry started to stare at me.
"Um do you....um want to?" He pointed towards the hallway to what I assume was the direction of his room.
"Sure." He stood back up from the couch and walked on. I stood up also and followed.
We walked past 4 rooms then stopped at an open door. Inside was a messy floor. The walls were as gray as the clouds before a rainstorm. His bed was made though. It stood out against the mess of his room.
There was a plain wooden dresser with papers and clothes on it.
"I'm sorry. I was meaning to clean but I just didn't......." He didn't have time to finish the rest of his sentence. I had my nervous lips upon his. The kiss lasted about 3 seconds. But it still was a kiss.
We didn't speak a word. He sat down then I sat down.
"Um." He broke the silence between us.
"I....liked that." He smiled and his cheeks were rosy pink.
"It just kind of happened. I don't know why..." I mumbled.
"I liked it." His smile grew and grew.
We were at the pond. The pond I found two nights ago. I didn't sing this time....at first anyways. I just hummed.
"What are you singing Bri?" Harry asked.
"I know that song." Harry was thinking.
"How?" I asked him.
"I just do."
"I sang it a while ago."
