"AHHH!" I screamed. Harry was chasing me through my backyard. I was finally home.
"Gotcha!" He yelled once he caught me. He pulled me right into his arms and gave me kisses all around my face.
"Haha, stop it!" I laughed. He gave in then let me go. We sat in the grass together, I was between his legs while resting the back of my head on his chest.
"Kai?" He asked when things became quiet.
"Huh?" I answered.
"I love you." He said. I could feel his smile.
"I bet I love you more." I grinned turning around to look at him.
"Whatever!" He paused. "But, really...when...when I sat there on the floor, with you laying lifeless in my arms...I felt like my world was over. I don't know what I'd do without you Kai. I really love you. And not just as a girlfriend, but as-" he stopped when he glanced up. Girlfriend? Was I his girlfriend, I mean he hasn't officially asked me yet. I glanced up to where Harry's eyes were looking and my heart nearly stopped. My breathing slowed and my heart beat rose. Niall.
"Hey, Harry can I talk to you?" He asked with a slight tone of sadness.
"Uh, ya..sure mate." He stood up. "Kai it'll only be a minute." Then he kissed my cheek and walked off with Niall.
I followed Niall into the house. We stopped right inside the door. "What's up?" I asked him.
"I-I have to talk to her Harry." He stuttered. My protective nerves shot through my body.
"No." I said then turned to walk off, but he grabbed my shirt sleeve.
"Harry! Please it's important, and you know it wasn't me who wanted to hurt her!" It was true, it wasn't his fault. But I still felt uncomfortable about this.
"Please...please Hazz. She's too much of a good friend for me to lose.." It was because of the realness in his eyes, that I said yes.
I walked out to the backyard. I stood there a minute in the doorway looking outside at my beautiful girlfriend....wait...was she my girlfriend? I mean, is it official? Anyways, I watched as she sat there playing with the grass. She was so small and cute. I really don't want to leave her alone with the guy who held a gun to her throat. But, her friendship with Niall is important to him. "Kai." I said. She looked up and smiled, squinting her eyes for the sun was bright.
"Hey babe. So, what was that all about?" She asked.
"Uhm...listen, you trust me right?" I asked her.
"Oh boy, I don't think I like where this is going."
"No just, listen." I said taking her hand in mine. I looked down. "You trust me, right?" I asked once more.
"Well, yeah but-"
"Okay...I need you to do me a slight favor.." I squeezed her hand.
"Harry...this is making me nervous." She spoke softly.
"I know, but...you have to trust me alright?" She nodded. "Okay...Niall needs to talk to you."
Her eyes widened and she lunged for my torso. Wrapping her arms around me. "No! Are you crazy?! There's no way I'm talking to him and you can't make me!" It tore my heart to know how much she didn't want to.
"Kai, please.." She squeezed tighter. I patted her back. "Kai-"
"No! Please Harry...please don't make me talk to him! He scares me he tried to-"
"Stop!" She stiffened at my voice. "Listen...babe I know you are a bit scared, but trust me.. You'll want to know what he has to say. He won't hurt you, I swear! I won't let anything happen to you!" She released her hands from around me and looked at me in the eyes.
"Are you gonna be ther-"
"Of course!" I interrupted her. "I'm not leaving you out of my sight ever again." I said kissing her on the forehead. Her hair smelled really good.
"Okay, I'll do it..." She answered. Wow, she actually agreed to it. Good work Hazza, I thought to myself. Now the only thing left to do is gain my trust for Niall back.
