"Let me go!" I yelled but they wouldn't let me budge. I squirmed and wriggled but I couldn't get loose. "What do you want from me?! Whatever it is, you won't get it!" I yelled.
"Shut up and tell that to the boss!" Yelled a small man, who was smoking a cigar.
"Well if you'd let me go, then maybe I would!" I spat out. I wiggled again and got one of my arms free. I swung back and smacked the taller guy in the face. That'll show him who's boss around here. I took a few steps back and felt a sting in my arm. "Ahh!" I let out. I grabbed my arm and was captured again by the two men. They turned me around, only to find none other than him...the man who tried to kidnap Diana, Terk Manner. "What do you want Terk?!" I sneered.
He grinned at me with yellow teeth. His eyes were filled with hatred and disgust. "Hahaha." He laughed. "I think we know why you're here Mr. Horan." He paused. "Rumor has it, you have a new little friend in the house. Kai, isn't it?"
"I don't know what your talking about." I gritted my teeth. I wasn't going to let him get to her.
"Oh Mr. Horan, I'm sure you'll be quite obedient when when i do this." I then pulled a control out of his pocket. On it was a red button. He pressed it and the place that was stung on my arm began to send electrical shocks throughout my body. I tried my best to stay strong but I fell to my knees. "You see Mr. Horan, I've inserted a little obedient device inside your arm. With this I can control your every movement, your every thought and your every word." He grinned evilly, while rubbing the device which sat in his hand.
"You'll never get away with this!" I yelled. Trying to gain my strength to stand.
"Oh, you idiot....I already have..." Then he pressed another button on the remote and I went black.
"And that's what happened." I finished telling Liam. His eyes were wide open.
"So you remember everything now?" He asked.
"Yeah...well except for blacking out. But I remember everything so clearly after waking up....even the part when I tried to..Kai...but I couldn't stop. I tried Li! I did! But my movements...all my actions. They...they were out of my control. She's terrified of me now. And it's not even my fault...." I slumped back in my chair.
"At least the doctors got the chip out." He said looking down.
"The chip...the one in your arm." He explained.
"Oh, yeah. That's a good thing. But, there's a bigger problem here than the chip Liam." I brought my hand through hair.
"What?" He asked.
"How do I get Kai to trust me again?"
"You have to talk to her Niall." He said sternly. "I know you're nervous. And I know she is scared, but you have to try." I was nervous to try and talk to her but...I had to. She's too good of a friend to lose. And maybe, just maybe, she'll believe that it was out of my control.
